    Dear Sir or Madam:

Im writing in response to the letter I received regarding a complaint to BBB.  **************** was a mutual friend and we only agreed to let him use our shop to work on his vehicle.  Not for us to get paid for it just him coming to work on it and my husband/friend would help him get it fixed.  He did not buy a new transmission for the vehicle as it was used, coming from a wrecked vehicle.  I have witnesses that can attest to that.  When it was brought and after it was looked at noticed it had cracks in it.  My husband along with this mutual friend called **************** about it.  He said he still wanted to use it.  This vehicle was brought to our shop around the beginning of the year.  I cant tell you how many times my husband/friend would call **************** to come to help work on it.  If he decided to show up would never stay long.  As far as the fluid, oil, and filters.  I have never seen any of that brought to use on vehicle. Now, he was the one that noticed catalytic converter so I cant tell you if it was done that away before vehicle was brought there or not.  But I do know there were times when **************** and his girlfriend were left unattended there to work on his vehicle.  During that time, we had several items to come up missing.  This was one of the reasons we asked him to get the vehicle off our property.  He started sending threatening messages to my husband and me.  I contacted the police about it.  I was told to type a letter up send to him about getting vehicle since was left there for long period of time.  We gave him every opportunity to come get his vehicle.  After he sent more threatening messages on 19th of November, we told him we wanted vehicle off our property then.  He showed up later that afternoon with a cop.  The cop tells us we didnt have to give him the vehicle since was left there for so long.  But we knew the situation had escalated and we didnt want any trouble.  We do have signs in our shop stating we are not responsible for anything left after 30 days.  I have attached them as well.  Now, I do know he had battery that was left there.  We found it after **************** had left with the vehicle so cop called **************** and he told us to leave beside tree close to road and he would come back and get it.

    Thank you,
