Northgate performed warranty work on our Alliance RV during August 2023. When the work was complete, Northgate would not release our RV until the Alliance manufacturer approved and paid them for the work, or we could pay Northgate RV and they would reimburse us when Alliance approved. We paid Northgate in full on August 21, 2023 and have not received reimbursement yet. I have contacted the service department manage by phone 2 times and the Northgate RV facility manager in person once and on the phone once. He assured me that they would get resolution. Last contact was on 10/18/2023 via their website email when I notified them of my intention to file this complaint if resolved by today. As of today Northgate has not responded to my email or resolved the issue.
In addition, I also notified the management that 3 of the items they charged time for and documented as fixed/working were not fixed/working when the RV was returned to us.
The work was performed on Northgate Work Order * ******

I bought this camper trailer new in February of this year. I’ve had nothing but problems from this camper trailer since day 1. The first (and only night) we’ve tried to use the camper, the air conditioner didn’t work. After waiting to have that fixed, the hot water tank was found to be leaking and off to the dealership it went for repair on that, along with roof repair/sealing from the dealership stating improper maintenance while at the purchasing dealership waiting to be sold. After getting it back from that, we planned another trip a few weeks later, and upon a pre departure inspection, the rear slide was found to be inoperable and stuck. The local dealer refused to work on the unit again, stating that it was a “lemon” and they had no room for it. The next closest dealership was almost 100 miles from where I live and since May 12th 2023 the camper has been there undergoing slide repair where the dealer stated the slide system was installed wrong from the factory. On May 10th 2023 I reached out to Michael Lynch the salesperson for the camper I purchased and explained the issues I was having (prior to the slide issue) and stated I would like to return the camper for a refund, at which time he stated he would reach out to his “east coast manager” and stated returning the unit was not an option and I would need to take it to my closest dealership for repair. I purchased this unit in February of this year and have had it for 6 months without being able to use it. I believe this to be unacceptable and want to return this unit for a full refund. On top of all that, I’ve paid storage fees and insurance for a camper I haven’t even been able to use. Along with a $1000 deposit “set up fee”.

We purchased a used C-class RV last Sept. 2022 from Dunlap Family RV ( now Northgate RV). When we first looked at the RV that we ended up purchasing, our sales person. Jayden Chambers) informed us of a soft spot in the floor at the top of the entry steps, and said that it would be fixed. On further inspection. We noticed that the backup camera didn’t work. She said that that would also be fixed. We came to an agreeable price and purchased the unit along with their extended warranty. Several times during the process, I reminded the dealership that we were told that the floor and backup camera were to be fixed. We were told again that it would be. When we picked up the unit, the back up camera seemed to be fixed but the soft spot was still there. I was put in touch with the service mgr. and he told me that they had fixed the cause and that it would not cause any further problem. Since taking ownership, we have taken 2 shot trips. The first one was fine. On the second trip, the back up camera would not come on and the soft spot had spread almost to the cab of the RV. I made an appt. to have it fixed. Both of these problems were supposed to have been taken care of when we purchased the unit. They kept the RV for 2 months during which time the dealership changed hands and locations I was called and told that they would not fix the floor because it was not in writing. The witnessed verbal agreement meant nothing. When I said that I would like to check with our attorney to find out the legality of a verbal agreement, the general mgr, Emily Collendar said that I was threatening her when I said”attorney” I had to communicate by way of text with service dept to arrange to pick it up. I was told that the rest was fixed. Went to pick it up Sat, Aug. 5. The man at the service desk was very rude, would not give me any paperwork showing what had been fixed. NOTHING had been fixed, rv was a mess, and now windshield wipers would not work. They refused to help me any further.
