    On 2/13/2023 I took my vehicle to this shop for an alignment. Car was kept for a few days before calling to come pick it up. Upon picking it up the shop owner said everything was good he did this and that. Tightened up this and that. Said the car would need a rack a pinion but he didn't do that kind of work and recommended a shop down the street. Charged me $342 for the alignment. Car was still not driving straight so i did the " recommended fix costing me $1400. After that occurrence car was still not driving straight. The shop had told me the vehicle did not need the rack and pinion and that it was the alignment still. Told me to not take it back to the same guy. They could tell the alignment had not even been touched in the rear. I then took it to a shop that specializes in alignments and had the car properly aligned. Paying another $260. Car now drives straight. Went back to A plus automotive to request my money back since he obviously didn't do the work on my car and he refused saying i should have brought the car back to him. After not doing the work the first time and recommending extra unnecessary parts and labor charges i had refused to take it back to him. Not to mention the shop he recommended said they was having same issues and to not take it back. Still can not get the merchant to return my money. He is stuck on saying i should have brought the car back. Even received a copy of the angles of the before and after alignment with my receipt and they still show the car being off in the reds.     The customer came to my Business on 2-13-2023 and stated that he had been to at least one other shop to have his car alignment performed and he was not satisfied with their work. The customer stated that he had been recommended by another shop that sublets their alignment work to my shop. The customer requested a ******* alignment, signed authorization to do the work, and left the vehicle. While driving the vehicle around the building the vehicle made pop[ping and bumping sounds from the front end area. Upon initial inspection it was noticed that one of the suspension parts was recently replaced. The 4 wheel alignment was performed and suspension parts were checked for proper torque, were found to be loose and were tightened. The vehicle was test driven down the street in front of the shop to make sure the steering wheel was centered. The wheel was centered and the vehicle was not making the same popping and bumping sounds it was previously making. The customer was informed the requested work had been completed 2-14-2023. The customer arrived on 2-16-2023 and made payment for services and was given a copy of the invoice and a print out from our wheel alignment machine. Customer returned later the same day 2-16-2023 and complained that the car was harder to turn in one direction than the other. After some discussion I was informed the vehicle had been hit in the wheel area prior to the alignment and parts had been replaced in that wheel area. Based on the information the customer had given me, I recommended he replace the steering rack and pinion assembly due to possible internal damage as a result of the prior collision to the wheel area. I informed the customer that our shop did not offer that service on his vehicle. The customer came into my shop about thirty day later and stated he had the steering rack and pinion replaced and had the car alignment done afterward and now the vehicle was driving as it should. The customer requested my shop reimburse him for the services that we had previously provide. The customer was loud and abusive and would not even let me speak. I made an attempt to reason with the customer but he continued to cut me off while I was speaking. The customer stated he didn't want to hear anything from me if I wasn't going to refund his payment for services that we had rendered. The customer called me a joke and also stated he paid with a credit card, and was going to the shop that recommended me to complain about the services he received at our shop. The customer disputed the charges to his credit card company and we responded promptly and the dispute was reversed on 3-29-2023. The steering rack and pinion assembly removal and replacement always requires a wheel alignment after being replaced as the steering tie rods have to be transferred or replaced and that is how the front toe is adjusted.

    The business is lying.  I have the receipts to prove he is lying about the time lapse.    Every receipt is dated.   I was never called to pick up the vehicle either. I had to call the shop.  They said " oh yeah. It's ready ".   I went and picked up the vehicle within an hour from the phone call.   This guy is a joke and is lying.   Why can't i upload the receipts to show proof.      The rear alignment was not even touched.  The passenger side wheel stuck out and entire inch more than the drivers side.   That has absolutely nothing to do with the " rack and pinion" in the front of the vehicle.      The credit card company is re opening the investigation after receiving the receipts and information i emailed them.  As a customer i am not going to sit in front of a business owner and be talked bad too nor told Im not getting my money back for the job they didn't do.

    As you can see in the receipt from the shop themselves the alignment was still not in the Green which is the recommended settings for the vehicle.     You can't claim you did a job when the Paperwork you're handing the customer even shows you didn't.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    Even according to your own readings you gave me on paper with the receipt show you did not do the work and the car was not in the recommended settings.    You also stated you drove the vehicle which you told me you did not drive it.  You said you did not need to drive it ** you could hear the popping noise which you also stated yourself.    You stated you fixed the popping noise but also stated i called complaining about it popping still the same day.    I had to pay another shop to the job you charged me to do.  You're being a ***** and I'll take it to small claims court with all my proof next if i have to.
