    On May 27, 2023 ************************* was hired to do repair work on my driveway. The total job would cost $2,800.00. **************** required 50% of the money to be paid up front ($1,400.00), and the remainder, after the job was completed. On May 30th, (3 days later,) **************** returned to my home and requested another $400.00 because he stated he had miss quoted the price of the concrete. On May 29th, **************** had a piece of equipment in my driveway busting up some of the concrete where the repairs were to be done. My drive way was literally torn up. I informed him that I would be hosting a birthday party on the 10th of June and he had guaranteed me that the job would be finished. I have not seen **************** but one other time since he received the $400.00 and that was when he came and formed the driveway. I have called him repeatedly and texted him and received no response. However, a couple of days ago he did return a text and said "concrete been behind and people been in front of me. I am not ignoring you at all". This is going on 3 weeks and my HOA is threatening to give me a fine.
