I purchased a pekingese puppy on 11-11-22 for $1200. It died on the night of 11-23-22. Tenn puppy lemon says that you have to receive a healthy puppy and it live for 15 days. He was not healthy and only lived 13 days. The puppy was throwing up and would not eat from the first day I got him and I texted breeder and he said it was because he was missing teeth. I would not have purchased puppy had I known it was missing teeth. After taking him to vet he continued to throw up the entire time I had him, I was told by vet he had coccidia, a elongated esophagus and intussusception. I called breeder the day he died to tell him what had happened and that ***** had died, ******* agreed to replace him and we buried puppy. He also stated that he had to replace another puppy from a women in SC also. When I texted him to find out when I could pick up the new puppy, he accused me of being a scammer and did not believe the puppy was dead and started screaming at me on phone I had killed the dog. He requested a letter from my vet and said he would call me after his vet talked to my vet. I did send him a letter from my vet that had seen the puppy and he has not called me back. I have sent breeder a certified letter demand for payment and also a regular mail envelope and vet report asking for my money back or a replacement puppy. I have a text message saying he would replace puppy but he has now blocked my number and refuses to talk to me. He keeps changing what he wanted from me. I will be taking this to magristrate court. ******** ad said he provides you with a health guarantee and health certificate, I was not provided with any of this. His ads are misleading and false and if he has a health guarantee he does not honor it.
