See timeline and memo outlying that ******************* did not inventory the entire estate, nor provide updates, increased her amount of % and made it impossible to get money for items sold. Also, she was supposed to have the entire estate inventoried within 60 days and in July, still had boxes not unpacked. I tried to arrange for a truck to pick up the items she deemed 'flea market' and heard nothing. She knows I am out of state and she is non responsive. My family did not need the money to pay for funeral expenses but I am sure I am not her first victim not will I be her last. She is a scammer and preys on folks during a very emotional time. I have ever email, text and voicemail to back up my claims. I have also filed a complaint with the ********* consumer affairs division.

      Business Response

We can assure  You that Every Effort has been made to discuss the Sale of items  for this Estate.  After the initial contact and observation of items, it was determined that aquaTreasures Estate Sales and Marketplace would take the items based on the ******************** machines and higher end items that would make up for the lower end boxes of **** items.   However when our Mover arrived, the higher end items had been retained by family members.   Also, the mover along with myself were treated  with aggressive disrespect by several family members or friends whom we did not know or were introduced to.

As a result, further contact was attempted with ******************** , but she would not discuss  the issue via phone, and continued to elaborate she would only respond by email due to her irate manner at the house.  Personal contact was  not responded to our business communications.  Upon our last email, it was stated she would pick up her items, which we welcomed.  However, the pickup was no scheduled and we will she failed to fulfill her obligation or phone communication.  We have truly overspent on staff, advertising, cleaning, and space required to store items which have not sold.   Due to  work involved with cleaning, unwrapping, and setup, the time involved fully EXCEEDED THE PERSONAL COST FOR SUCH LOWER END ITEMS as explained.

Further communication will be continued with professional courtesy for pickup of items, sell or donation to charity.

      Sincerely,

      ***** and *******************

I know at this point it is my word against *********************** but she is not telling the truth and did not abide by her terms of the contract.  First, I never had a contract to review and sign till less than a week when they were to pick up the items.  I brought her out and clearly told her that the Featherweights were still being looked at and she said, "she would be disappointed if they weren't part of the estate."  She NEVER said they HAD TO BE A part in order to take the items.  All the other stuff she claims was taken, was in the boxes that her company picked up.  And, we never packed anything that was broken, if it was broken it was due to her transport to her facility.  In addition, her car was packed with our the items.

In the end, this summer she still had not completely inventoried and sent me pictures of boxes still not unpacked.  I tried to arrange for pick up of the items several times and she was nonresponsive.  In the end, yes, she never did her part of the contract, kept not answering my emails and NEVER ATTEMPTED TO CALL me or contact me.  If I didn't pursue this, she would have happily sold items and kept all proceeds.

There is several 'high' value items that she has that she claims she doesn't.  Maybe they are sitting in boxes, maybe they are sitting in her house, maybe they were sold but I never got any reports, etc. showing that.

I can take EVERY email, EVERY text and EVERY voicemail (from my dad's celebration of life day) and provide but it will take me time to save as PDFs, etc. and upload.  I know I am not the first victim, I just don't want other families to go through this.

I am rejecting this response because I do not have any resolution of the estate.  I do not have all 350+ boxes of items, several sewing machines, including ones in furniture kept inside the house, several highly collectible art and figurines that she saw.  I gave NO GUARENTEES that the FIVE (5) featherweights would be included.  EVERYTHING else was included.  Until I see a detailed listing that includes all the items, I will not settle my claim.  I want to see the Art **** lamps, *************, the sewing machines that were included, the furniture, the Sailor Llardro, several other Llardros, a French art piece (medal), etc.  There were 100s of vintage pottery.

Once I receive this information, I can review.  If I close this now, there will be no paperwork coming.

      Sincerely,
