I paid this membership for years and didn't even go the last year and I cancelled this membership and Club 4 Fitness is harrassing me for $10. This is the last email I got. Threatening to send me to an outside collection company for $10. DO NOT JOIN CLUB 4 FITNESS.Dear Valued Member, To date, we have received no correspondence pertaining to your debt with our company. Your balance is currently greater than 90 days past due. As a result, your membership is now inactive and will be sent to our collections agency. They will receive all accounts on the 27th, so we intend to close this matter no later than the 26th of the month. Your full payment by this date will stop the collections process. If you make a payment online or in your local Club4, then please reply to this email. I was a member of Club4 Fitness approximately 5 months. I walked in the front door of the fitness center one day and spoke to the Manager (******) one day and asked to join. In August I walked back in and told them that I was quitting because I was selling my home and moving They told me I had to stop my membership on the app on my phone and I did that. I was informed in the app and by staff that per agreement I would have to pay September also. In February while processing my banking information I discovered that they were still drafting my bank account. So I reversed charges at the bank and filed a complaint with the *****************************************. So they still owe me for 5 months that they should not have taken from my bank account which is clearly in my opinion some type of fraudulent and deceitful practice on their part to receive monies they arent entitled to posess.

I have done some further research on CLUB4 Fitness and it appears that they are or were constantly making changes as to what is acceptable during the 2023 year and were not retaining managers during this period. There are many clever ways to systematically disadvantage customers and employees and I think there should be afederal investigatiion. It has been stated that they refused to allow a dead persons account to be closed even after viewing the death certificate in one of the ******* complaints.

I came to this gym November 14th to discuss personal training options with trainer ******* *****. It was an understanding that I was only interested in paying for a one month personal training session at a rate of $512. Knowing I only wanted a month of services, I went to the bank and withdrew $512 exactly, explaining I didnt want any recurring charge of $512 on my credit card. Unbeknownst to me, ******* formulated a contract of lies and deception. He hoodwinked me into signing a 12 month contract at a rate of $512 a month, coming to a yearly sum of $5600.The computer was never displayed to me to show what option he clicked, only the keypad to sign my signature was right in front of me. I asked ******* why I would be charged again next month if I just paid cash today to which he stated, I could cancel that charge anytime. After learning I had been scammed into signing the fraudulent contract, I cancelled any further training sessions with ******* as well as ending my membership with this club. I contacted the CEO of the company, *** ******, Friday November 22nd, in attempt to reach a resolution, to which he stated I knew what I was getting myself into, ultimately defending the deception. This business operates on scamming, lies, predatory practices, and fraudulent contracts that lock you into a years worth of car-note payments for their own financial gain to pay for that equipment in there. Now Im being forced to buyout the contract for $2800 or continue payment for the year for a sum of $5600. The $512 cant be recovered minus my two sessions because they refuse to give refunds. This is neither right nor just.

Cleanliness, gym is not cleaned on a daily basis or deep cleaned on regular basis. Common areas are okay but rest areas and locker room is horrible
