Two Broke Bartenders was hired and reserved to move my heavy weight items across the street. The two employees (later to find out they were contracted out that morning) arrived completely unprepared and damaged a majority of my furniture. The gentlemen used my furniture to transport my heavier items, leather and wood items were dragged and destroyed in addition; a four hour long project nearly doubled in time. A manager working for Two Broke Bartenders came to inspect the damage and attempted to seek repair of the furniture but ultimately agreed to file paperwork with insurance. After the gentleman left, the company neglected to reply to numerous attempts of contact.

In August of 2022 I purchased a home that was rehabbed by this company. The owners of this company hold a contractors license, and own another company, 2B Development. 2B Development is the name of the company that I purchased the home from. One of the partners applied for a building alterations permit to complete the work on the house. The permit was flagged because the house is in a historic landmark district and they needed to get permission to replace the windows from the ******************** The permit was not issued because they did not follow the proper process for the ******************* but they went ahead a replaced the windows. The other partner who was the signer on the sale of my house, applied for a permit as the homeowner even though he did not live in the house. The permit was issued and the work was *********************** work was completed but they did not pull a plumbing permit so it was never inspected. Code enforcement has since changed the permit to reflect that the partner was acting as a contractor and not the home owner, and the permit still remains open and unresolved. In a statement provided to the ********* ************************************, the partner who attempted to pull the first permit admitted to completing work based on a permit that was never issued. He also admitted that the plumbing work that was done under the issued permit was not done by a licensed plumber. The house has been inspected by code enforcement and failed, all of the plumbing work was done illegally and not up to code. I have been dealing with sewer gas, flooding, and moisture from previous water damage. The partner that was the signer on the sale of the house has only offered to pay for a portion of the plumbing repairs. A civil lawsuit will have to be filed.A complaint has been filed with the ********* ********** of ******** against the contractors license and I am awaiting the hearing.
