  I searched everywhere for what i wanted on my sons headstone. days and days looking. I then thought i would try here. WHAT A MISTAKE. I told them in emails and phone calls what i wanted. all the text and where to place it. where i wanted pictures and the ***** on it. waited and waited and nothing. So i went somewhere else. NOW they are claiming the design i told them is theirs and that they copyrighted my design and want compensation. the Idea, placement hight,of back and base, everything i told them. they did not have Inspiration. i told them everything i wanted and where it was to be. The entire memorial sesign is mine. The just rips opens wounds more that will not heal. Stay Away.

  Hello,  Thank you for sending this to me.  This is the problem with online sites like yelp is that people use them as blackmail.  It is also why I appreciate BBB as you go to the trouble to find out if consurmer claims are true or, as in this case, false. This is the same false, poorly and hastily written garbage he posted on yelp.  It is just a copy and paste of his lies.  He does not even request BBB action, because he is just lashing out and threatening my family business.

   I have well over 60 emails with him.  He contacted me regarding a memorial on my website then asked if I could modify the design which we did then asked if I could modify the design which we did and provided drawings for his approval.  He went on to make multiple lettering changes until we arrived at the design he wanted only to find out it was more than he wanted to spend on his son's memorial.  So we made more revisions and produced more renderings to get the cost down only for him to claim his hot water heater blew and shorted out his furnace and would contact me again when he had "extra money". This was the last I heard from him.  Contrary to his claims, I sent three follow up emails over the next nine months and heard nothing back.
  
  Two years later we found a picture online of a direct copy of our design.  He took the drawing to another company and had them copy it.  There is no time in designing the memorial nor a need to employ graphic artists when you just steal the works of others so I imagine he got a lower price than what we gave to him.  I guess it is easy to offer discounted prices on stolen property.  It has been established the design was stolen.  We sued a company that had the picture on their website.  We settled for less that what was owed because they confessed that they did not make the monument and only posted a picture they received from a Chinese supplier but paid our settlement amount to stay out of court.  This means someone else made the stolen design for *************.  I reached out to him telling him we knew of what he did and to please give us the name of the company that made the memorial so we could contact them regarding what is owed to us.  This is when he lost control of himself and started posting on yelp and complaining to BBB. We were not askding him for money, all he has to do is tell us who made the monument for him but he won't do that as, he knows, the company will tell us he walked in with our design in hand. This is the reason for his tantrum.
  
  I have every email, every drawing and would be glad to share them with anyone that wants to see his claims are false and also if you want to see what type of person would open a yelp account and file a complaint with BBB just to harm a family business all to keep from being held accountable for stealing his son's monument design.
  
  We hold a federal copyright on the design so this is not just my opinion.*************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

  Please do not allow this complaint to show on my profile.  We sell nationally and our reputation is very important to us.  This is why he is attacking us.  He is trying to keep us from filing suit to collect what is legally ours and is using threats to stop us.  Please don't allow this thief to inflict any more damage to my family than he has already done..

  I've attached pictures of the drawings we made and the final product.  He said he had a drawing of what he wanted but only sent the lettering attachment I've shown.  The emails below are just some of the many that show i was very kind to him, and spent a lot of time helping him tying to get a memorial for his son that he would love and could afford.  Every email I send and every drawing we make shows our claim to copyrignt.

  I want to make sure we have the right size and type of stone before we focus on lettering placement.  As drawn we have a memorial that is just under $22k without the pictures. 
  I also want to make sure this is an allowed size.  Currently the base is 56" wide which is wider than most single ******.  Is this going to be ok?
