    Ewing Movers were hired to move four rooms of furniture from two bed rooms up stairs with an adjoining living and dining room on lower level with a moving date on December 6, 2022. 1) There was no prior assessment of what was to be moved before moving date. 2) One of our two queen *** spring mattresses was left up stairs because the movers could not decide how to get it down stairs without causing damage. The one queen *** spring did some damage to the ceiling over the stairs. 3) The supervisor decided to leave the *** spring where it was located. 4) It took a good amount of time to make that decision. 5) Our white mattress was dragged on the ground and soiled also the chest of drawers was scuffed. I called, went to their office on 3rd St, sent an email and took a handwritten letter with our complaints and received no results. It took the movers 3hrs and 20mins to load the truck. It took 1hr and 13mins to unload and set-up the furniture. The secretary ******** is the only person I have been able to talk with. She said it would cost another $160+ to retrieve our *** spring. That is in addition to the $969.75 already paid to Ewing by us. The person at our old address said they would remove the *** spring however they could; that was over three months ago.

    The less than $200 doesn't begin to satisfy me. I paid to have all of my furniture delivered but the box spring mattress was never delivered to my moving address. Also the damage to my furniture was never rectified.   The box spring  too dirty to use and was trashed last month.  I had to purchase another box spring and mattress after waiting since December 2022 which will be delivered July 5. The chest of drawers was not refinished either.
