    I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the vehicle I purchased from your dealership in February 2024. The vehicle was financed through ************************* with a loan amount of $25,000.Just two weeks after I took possession of the car, I began hearing a knocking or rattling noise under the hood. I had the car inspected by two separate mechanics, both of whom informed me that the engine was likely about to fail, and strongly advised that I return the vehicle to AutoNation immediately.I followed that advice and brought the car to your service department. Despite the warnings, I was told nothing was wrong with the vehicle. This happened multiple timesspecifically, the car was brought in at least twice for the same issue, and each time I was told the motor was fine. My vehicle remained in your service department for 2 to 3 weeks at a time, leaving me with no transportation and causing significant hardship.Eventually, before the 90-day period ended, the car began to smoke, stall, and lose powerit couldnt go over 20 miles per hour. Only then did your service team acknowledge that the engine was failing. This was something I had been reporting from the very *************, I am left with a car I barely drove for two months, a $25,000 loan, and no functioning vehicle. I feel I was sold a defective product and that my repeated concerns were ignored until it was too late to act under warranty protections. I am requesting a full refund or a buyback due to the mishandling of this situation and failure to properly diagnose the issue in a timely manner.

    I had a problem where my cars antitheft system stoped recognizing my keys. As a result I could not get my car to turnover. The people I dealt with very nice. This does not change the fact that I am completely disappointed by Autonation *****The first time I took my car to Autonation **** they said the problem was due to aftermarket keys. After 1 week week, two new keys, and a bill for $400 fthe problem was fixed..for three days. I had my car once again towed to Autonation **** so that they could try fixing my problem again The second time I had my car towed to Autonation **** my car sat on the lot for three weeks. During this time there was no dealer initiated communication. All of the communication I had with **** were initiated by myself and the ***lies were always a variation of "We're working on it." While waiting for my car to be fixed I needed my license plate number so that I could get parking decals for my son's school. I was sent a photo of my car sitting in the parking lot. My car could not be stared so moving it was not easy. I wondered about this and called and asked about this. I spoke to a customer service *** and the service manager expressing my frustration, and letting the service manager know that I was going to issue a complaint with the BBB he said he would have a tech take a look at it. Within four hours I had a diagnosis. One week and $800 later the problem was fixed...for one week. I have not taken my car back because, despite their nation wide dealer service network and access to ****'s engineers to pull from, I don't think Autonation **** is interested in fixing my vehicle. If they were, it would have been fixed already. After filling out a customer service questionnaire the service manager ***lied "I understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for the recurring issue with your Ranger." They never expressed any interest in making sure my problem was fixed, nor did they offer to try once again.

    I would rate them a zero but 1 is as low as it goes. They are very unprofessional and rude. Wouldn't purchase a vehicle from them even if they were the only dealer in Memphis

    Poor establishment. I was scheduled for an interview on 03/27/24 at 11:30 AM I arrived at 11:15 I greeted the guy at the receptionist desk, he told me wait in the break room where I waited almost an hour as other employees came in and out and I watched television. Finally I asked a gentleman if they knew the person who I was scheduled to interview with, they said yes but they work in a different department, he then walked me over to that department I told the other gentleman at the desk that I was scheduled for an interview with *************************** he phoned her then she told me we cant move forward with the interview. I asked could we discuss another day and time and some random man stormed into the building saying I was causing chaos on the scene. I never started anything and they can roll their cameras back and see. Each of these employees should be investigated and evaluated for their behavior I believe they just picked a day in which they wanted to bully someone.

    My car has been at the service center here for 5 days and I've literally only spoken to a service advisor once. The repair needed is covered under my car warranty and, as it's taking them days to complete the work, I am *********** a rental car. However, they are not returning my calls to let me know what's going on with my car and, therefore, I cannot discuss the rental car situation with them. I will NOT be utilizing them ever again. I'm forced to give them a star rating which really should be zero but that is not an option.

    They take forever. Even though I had scheduled an appointment, it took more than 2 hours to get a basic oil change. They acted like it was normal. They also continue to harass me via email, asking me to sell my car back to them. *** asked so many times for them to stop, but they simply wont. I would avoid this place for maintenance.

    I am posting this to warn my fellow people. I will NEVER buy another ***** I have heard the cliches, "found dead on *********** old repair daily" and they go on and on. While I am thankful for ******** grandmother selling this car to me at the time I needed a vehicle. This message is to ***** The acronyms are true. We are lucky to become a 1 vehicle household and literally the day we decided to sell the car to carmax for more than I owe on it, the transmission stopped working. I did some research and found this is a common issue with these transmissions. I called **** and I am BARELEY outside to the warranty on the power train. I paid to have it diagnosed and found **** is charging $9000 to repair the transmission. That is more than the value of the vehicle. I just want everyone to be warned. DO NOT BUY A ****!!!
