      Service Manger Chase is a real c*** Brought 2017 Pilot in for a TSB software update regarding emission error code and was told it would take 2 hours to update. In the middle of the afternoon I was texted an estimate for $2500 of maintenance they suggested. I have an ext. warranty that covers it, but they refused and then told me my 2 hour software update couldn't be completed because the parts were on order.AVOID HONDA 385

      I talked with ******** on the phone after he was rude to the advisor and Service Director demanding his vehicle be repaired immediately. I was very nice explaining we could do the repair the following day after the parts arrived, but that was not good enough for him and again he was rude to me also. We try to help and assist everyone but unfortunately no matter your good intentions you can't please everyone including ********. He said he would have his vehicle towed to another Honda store and I told him we would have his keys ready for the tow driver.We performed a multi-point inspection as we do with every vehicle that goes into our shop. This is a free inspection and we let customers know what is recommended by **************** standards. Everyone can tell the type of customer ******** is by the name calling of my Service Director *****. SAD!

      They flim flam you in the office telling you need this and that. I bought a honda crv for total price of ****** plus tax, and other fees. I was tired and blood pressure up and they intimided me in to signing a contract that was going to cost me ****** over a seven year period. I called the next day and canceled all the bs they tried to add on. They are sorry folks to deal with.

      This is a customer that agreed to a price and when offered options in the finance office he chose to purchase warranties and pre-paid maintenance along with other protective products which he signed to go for a longer term and different interest rate to keep payments low.  After the deal was funded with the bank he wanted to cancel all the products he said yes to during the buying process which he did cancel.  The issue is that we can't change the interest rate or the term he signed up for but all the cancellations will come off the bottom line and his amount finance will go back to what he wanted before going into the finance office.  If there was a way to help this customer out I would but after the deal is funded with the bank I can't change the terms.  He is now financing the amount he wanted and he will pay the vehicle off in less than 5 years.

      They put an after market steering wheel pump in my car as replacement that lasted 20k miles instead of the average 100k life. I once heard that Autonation pushed after market parts instead of Honda parts. Also, that a lot of employees left because of bad business practices once the Mendenhall location closed. Now I guess I see why. Wolfchase has my business from now on even though it is way out of my way.

      AutoNation Honda service departments uses Honda manufactured parts unless the parts aren't available/back order or when a customer requests the less expensive option going aftermarket.  We always update customers of their options and once we get approval from the customers we do whichever route they choose.  

      Also, when AutoNation Mendenhall needed more space for the growing demand for Honda's we moved to our new location and we didn't lose any employees, so no clue what that comment is about.

      And lastly, Honda customers do have multiple locations to choose from when servicing their Honda's and when customers speak we have the highest Customer Satisfaction scoring in the ******* area.  Both AutoNation Honda service locations have the highest satisfaction scores in the ******* area and that is not even close.

      AutoNation mechanics at this location are incompetent. The service advisors are un trained and the manager ***** isnt available when problems are to addressed. After oil change, engine cover was properly attached. It became completely damaged and needed replacement. Initially, service advisor did not want to take any accountability. This in itself creates a shady situation and erodes credibility. These are sorry individuals providing sorry service causing AutoNation future business in sales. Why would I purchase a new car if this is what I have to look forward too.

      This is a customer who clearly hit something on the road and has visual damage from underneath the front bumper to the rear bumper and believes we did the damage. Simply impossible! We also lifted the vehicle to show the customer all the damage under the vehicle and even after inspection the customer said it was our fault. We try and help our customers out when possible but this has nothing to do with the work performed by our service department and she needs to contact her insurance company as we recommended.

      They wanted to charge me $93 to change my ********* filterthat's a 30-second job with a $10 part!!! How many unsuspecting folks do they take advantage of in this way? And they were going to charge another $78 to replace the engine air filtermaybe a $20 part and a 2-minute job. Such common ripoffs!!

      I'm sorry this customer feels this is a rip off but every dealership charges a labor fee to do any work. Our labor fee is in line with all other dealers. Since he can also perform the work quicker than any tech in the world I'd love to have him in my shop. If you want a job call me I'm the ***

      There is a difference in trade value and retail value and the 2014 F-150 needed repairs that were known when traded. We look at all the trade data and have to take off for the repairs and if we were not giving enough then why would someone trade or sell the vehicle to us? After we spent thousands on the truck to bring it up to retail standards we could ask retail pricing.

      I will never and I do mean never purchase another Honda from this dealership , and based on this location's service I may not ever buy another Honda from any dealership in any state. This instance of service started off so badly. I called the service department in hopes of picking up a part, a small part that costs $4.00. First, no one answered the parts line - I called several times and at intervals of time. Then I called back and hit the prompt for service - no one answered. I called new sales and yes got an answer there. I asked the person who answered if she could please get me someone in parts. She said they were on the other side of the building. I said to her, geesh, this is a repeated problem that i have found with this dealership. Out of frustration, i told her i won't be buying from here anymore. I can't reach anyone in the parts or service ***** She said look, i'll walk over there since over something like this you would take it that far as not to buy a car. She got me someone in service, she was nice , but told me they are about to close in the next 20 mins and if i could come there, she would help me get the part. So i did. We walked back to parts, the parts guy , probably about 6ft, i'm 5ft on a tall day, says to me without neither me nor her saying anything.. oh this must be the liar who called up here saying no one was answering the phone for her. .. And so begins an incident .. the characters left in this thread arenot enough to detail this incident - I will have to add additional review as this gets worse...

      I do apologize for the inconvenience of calling and not getting anyone on the phone as I understand that can be frustrating. The best number to call is ************ and our receptionist will answer from 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and 8am-7pm on Saturday and 1pm-5pm. This customer has her **************** Accord in service now with a recall that has not been fully repaired. We are waiting on the parts to arrive so we can complete the repair and get the Accord back to the customer. The parts are scheduled to arrive this week.

      After locating the car I wanted online, I inquired to see if it was still available, it was. I talked to the salesperson ****/***** and told him I wanted to BUY the vehicle,not test drive, look at it but coming in to buy. This was Friday morning, I schedule to come in on Saturday to BUY the car, it was told to me that would be fine and it would be ready. My schedule cleared out that Friday and I called the saleman back and told him that I was on my way to purchase the car, he stated that it was fine. When I arrived, it took him some time to meet with me only to tell me that the car had been sold right before I got there. It was sold to a "white haired couple"(that's what the salesman quoted). I wrote the general manager ******************** to ask about the policy of telling customers one thing but doing another. Of course he wrote back talking about a pre-owned car and a lot of double talk. It was obvious he didn't want to admit that the way 385 does it, it's a first come, first serve way. A honest and reputable salesman would have put a hold on it or put pending on the vehicle. ******************** did do a search for me and did not find a 22 in gray(the color I wanted), but suggested that I look at the 2023. Now if I wanted a 23 I would have went with a car that was ***** more than the one you sold. Maybe if I had been part of a white hair couple, ******************** would have offered me the 22 he had at a discounted price or even extra oil changes. If you're looking for integrity, Autonation 385 is not the place.

      I apologized that the vehicle she wanted to buy was already sold and we do not hold any vehicle on our lot. It's simply available to sell to the 1st customer on the lot. I explained that to this customer and she was unhappy and didn't think that was right. I also tried to help her find the color she wanted and it was going to be in the new body style 2023 because all 2022 models were sold out. Honda was done making any new Honda 2022s which I explained and again she was upset. The fact of the matter is she waited too late to try and buy a 2022 which were all sold out and was mad because the last one available sold before she arrived. I'm sorry we couldn't do better.

      I bought a car from them for 60 days that has a recall on the motor. I return the car to them because they dont want to buy a new motor for the car. They want to send the car to another place to repair which will *********** to 8 weeks to repair. They have not offered to provide me rental for the weeks Ill have to wait and some bald guy was rude each time I was up there trying to speak with them in hopes of getting a resolution.

      The customer has a recall on a ******* and **************** can't perform a manufacture recall on a non-Honda. Therefore, the customer has to take the ******* to ******* to get the recall completed and it is up to that manufacturer if a rental would be approved. This really doesn't have anything to do with our dealership since we can't approve a rental for another manufacturer.
