      Working with Carpet Spectrum was the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor, and I work with them every single day at my job. Owner is the only one doing quotes, measurements, supervision, and logistics for every project. He never spent more than 5 minutes talking to me, and only said what he THOUGHT I wanted to hear so he could leave. He sent a crew a day early and then called me to ask why I wasn't letting them in (no notice, and this crew was at the wrong door). They entered and immediately started arguing with me when I asked about the process of leveling the floors. After calling multiple times, he finally showed up and told me not to worry about the guy arguing with me, he would handle it. He did not remove that man from my home and continued to send the same guy back. When it came time to level the floors, he lied to the ** and myself, said the work was done, then laid the carpet anyway. When I asked him to please send someone to repair the floor, as it wasn't level, he came over to challenge me and disagree. He said he would repair one small area and that was it, as he thought the rest looked level and that was good enough for him. Once the carpet was pulled up, I saw the floor was so uneven the installation crew had used MY painter's tape to secure the tack strips so they wouldn't move. Again, no one ever checked this work when it was done, just lip service and lies. They finally came back to lay the carpet, but skipped replacing 3/4 of the threshold floor strips. When I requested they match, he sent back a crew of angry men who never spoke to me and only replaced 2/4. After that interaction, I cut ties and asked the ** to secure the remaining strip, and found a new company to complete the work. He was initially set to do more rooms, but told me he'd rather not work with me any more after I called him out on the lies, and promised to send the same awful crew if I went ahead with the order. Unacceptable behavior from a company, avoid at all costs.

      This is not our customer. Ask her if she has a receipt from Carpet Spectrum or if she has paid a dime to Carpet Spectrum. Sounds like a customer that would have been turned down for repairs from us. The owner of Carpet Spectrum does not do quotes nor does he manage every project. There is an entire team dedicated to customer service when there is an actual customer of ********************** to service. *** ********
