    For one thing I used to work for some of the best Petlands in this country, not all of them are bad, but this one is the worst! There are Petlands that buy from excellent breeders, and then you got the , like this one that ride on the coattails and reputations of these good Petlands, saying they buy from good breeders when they buy from puppy nails. Im a dog trainer and *** had several clients tell me they researched the breeders and they came from puppy *****, I also can vouch for that, because I bought a puppy from them, and he has genetic IVDD in his spine, and genetic allergies. He has cost me thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars in vet bills. Do not , go here, you will regret it. I even tried to reach out to the owner, *******************, which was a horrible mistake, because I already knew this man would never respond, because hes greedy, and he has a morals of a guinea pig.

    Buyers beware,Upon entering into the store we located a dog that we wanted to meet we approached **** who stated we could not hold the dog. Upon asking **** why we couldnt hold the dog she stated only serious buyers could hold the dog. Me and my fianc are both in our 30s very well off in our careers , what makes us not serious? Thats when we located ******* the manager when we let her know of ***** discrimination, she proceeded to giggle when we did not giggle back she then stated oh you are serious she then began to make excuses for ***** actions when in reality we were discriminated from the second we walked in. The store was full of teenagers, playing with dogs, but serious buyers. Were not allowed to make a purchase. As we are current dog owners to the same breed. This is a prime example of do not judge a book by its cover. Petland has lost a potential buyer, and a forever home for one of their pets.

    Hello Angel,We are so sorry for the confusion and unfortunate choice of words. The puppy you were interested in was on rest time. When you initially asked to see him, our associate stated he was on break. After asking again, she did misspeak. When a puppy is on a break, management must approve of the puppy coming out. The criteria being the potential owners have a reservation previously ************** importantly that the puppy is well rested at the time of the reservation. In any other case, there would simply be a waiting period to allow the puppy rest time. These measures are in place to ensure the puppy has adequate rest time and is able to happily play with his/her potential family. While yes, we do have several teenagers in store. We appreciate the socialization, however it is a greater goal to have this puppy matched with the right family. Understandably, with the miscommunication, there were escalated emotions and rather inappropriate language used when in store. Given the circumstances, our team wasnt able to fully address your concerns prior to leaving the store. This incident is a misunderstanding of policy and poor choice of words. Our staff has been addressed on the matter to ensure this is not an occurrence in the future. We do hope you accept our apology, and we welcome you to both come in and socialize with our puppies. Please give us a call and we will schedule your reservation to ensure a room and set playtime with the puppy of your preference.
