B&C Towing was contacted on June 1st to pick up my 2014 Dodge Challenger and take it to the shop for transmission work. When the driver delivered the car the shop owner called me and told me that the vehicle had been damaged in route to the shop. He sent pictures showing the trunk being broken and the tow truck driver jumping off the wrecker on to the trunk trying to get it back closed which caused the hydraulic bars to break and become wedged between the body of the car and the trunk. I called B&C ****** and spoke with the Towing Manager ***** who advised to get an estimate and they will repair it. I got an estimate 2 weeks later from Reeds Auto Shop for $2500. When we took the estimate ***** stated they would not pay that and take it to Brewers. ******* advised they didnt want to put on a new truck but could do the work way less than Reeds which was not acceptable. After calling B&C back, ***** advised that Brewers would do everything that was listed on the estimate from Reeds. It has been over a month and no one is answering B&C phones ************) and when I reached out to the Repo number to speak with the owner *************************, the lady keeps advising that she will give him the message and I have yet to hear from them since they were supposed to schedule the repairs with Brewers. I called today (07-12-22) and asked to speak to the owner again and the lady said shell tell him to call me whenever he comes in. So for over a month, Ive been driving with my trunk tied closed and damaged because of their driver.

I am rejecting this response because: The owner has lied. We did not open the trunk. I took my items out of the back seat of my vehicle. Secondly, my was not wrecked at all. The tow manager and driver owned up to the damage and took full responsibility. However, the owner decided to call the insurance company a head of time and advise them that they were not in fault. He stated that when we spoke that he had already reached out to them to let them know it was not an issue they caused. The insurance company has been giving us the runaround since we reached out to them.

      Sincerely,
