    To Whom It May Concern,I am utterly disgusted with the abysmal service I have received from Southern Spray. When I initially signed up over four years ago, my lawn was lush and green. Now, thanks to Southern Sprays blatant negligence, it looks like a scorched wasteland.Despite paying for both my front and back yards to be treated, my backyard has been outright ignored for over three years. Even when I receive the rare call to unlock my gate, the backyard and often the sides of my lawn remain untouched. It's almost as if Southern Spray is actively trying to ruin my property.I've contacted Southern Spray multiple times, including in the last four weeks, but the only response I get is evasive non-answers and attempts to upsell me even more useless treatments. Mgr. **** has been particularly unhelpful, dodging my calls and refusing to put anything in writing to avoid accountability.I have estimates from reputable lawn services, and it's going to cost at least $4,000.00 to re-sod both my front and back yards. This is the same amount I've wasted on Southern Sprays so-called "services." I demand immediate action to rectify this disaster. Southern Spray must either pay for the complete re-sodding of my lawn or refund the $4,000.00 I have thrown away on their incompetence. If this issue is not resolved to my satisfaction, I will seek legal action to recover my losses and any additional damages.Consider this your final warning.     Mr ******* was informed in August 2024 by one of our Techs that he had insects (chinch bugs) in his lawn that needed to be treated. Mr ******* declined the treatment. As a result of declining this treatment his lawn was damaged as is evidenced in the photos sent by Mr ******* in his complaint.
    Additionally, our lawn manager met with Mr ******* the first week of October ********************************************************************************************************************************************** the spring when the new growth started to emerge. Mr ******* did not agree with our manager and called demanding that we do something different. We again attempted to explain that this late in the growing season we could not get the results he demanded and that we could help him in the spring.
    Mr ******* then informed us that he was going to file this complaint and that he was contacting an attorney. We have had no further contact with Mr ******* since the threat of legal action.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    Your statement is completely inaccurate. I declined to pay for ineffective treatments over the past four years. Why on earth would I continue to pay for services that have clearly damaged my lawn?
    I did not threaten your company with legal action. I only mentioned that my wife suggested seeking legal advice if your company refused to resolve this issue properly.

    Your company's continued deflection and refusal to accept responsibility for the damage caused is unacceptable. This needs to be fixed immediately.

    As Mr. ******* states he would not allow us to treat his lawn for the insects that were destroying his grass. Had he followed our recommendations the damage would have been minimized and as we stated we could help get his lawn to fill in when the new growing season started. We would still like to help my *******  in the spring if he will allow us to service his property.

    I am rejecting this response because: 

    I must correct a blatant falsehood in your recent communication. You stated that recommendations were provided. This is entirely untrue. If so, where is the proof? I have never received an email or documentation from your company unless it was an invoice to pay. No such documentation was ever received.
    Furthermore, your company has consistently failed to return my emails, which is why I had to open this case with the BBB for assistance.

    Additionally, your crew rarely showed up, and when they did, they often did a subpar job and left an invoice on the door. The manager you sent out sized me up and then tried to sell me additional services that wouldnt be needed if your team had treated my yard correctly the first time. After I declined the services, he left with a rude expression, showing no regard for my concerns.

    If you do have proof in email or hard copy, please provide it in this case.

    Given this misrepresentation, I am requesting a refund of $2,800 so that I can take my business elsewhere. I hope we can resolve this matter promptly and amicably.

    As Stated by Mr ******** we did go to the property and meet with the customer. We again informed him that he had insect damage which need to be treated to prevent further damage. We also told him that we would work with him in the spring to assist the lawn in filling in the dead areas. Mr ******* refused our offer and canceled his service. Southern Spray does not  believe a refund is due based on Mr ******* refusal to allow us to stop the insect damage.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    To whom it may concern,

    I am writing to formally request a partial refund of $2,600.00 due to the improper handling of previous services provided to my property. Despite our previous communications and the opportunity for Southern Spray to address the insect damage, the efforts were unsatisfactory, and the issue remains unresolved.

    Given the circumstances, requesting a refund of a little above half of the amount spent with your company to close this complaint is fair. This resolution would reflect a more than fair settlement for the services that were not effectively delivered.

    On July 2, 2024 I spoke with *********************, he said that I couldn't talk to anyone else above him that makes decisions. I told him I'm highly unsatisfied, almost every month this year they had to come back and respray my yard for weeds. And the guys that come out to spray was forgetting to spray inside of my gate. This was my last straw after I got my yard retreated last month for weeds, which left spots all over my yard going on 2 months. I asked for a refund for last month, which is about $46, Because I paid up for the whole year. He informed me he couldn't do that he would put it as a credit at the end of the year. Which means I will have to stay with them, which I don't want to. Since he couldn't refund for last month, I requested to cancel all future services and he said he couldn't do that either. I would like a full refund for the remaining of the year.

    I prepaid $563.35 in March 2022 for 5 rounds of ************* I canceled the service with two rounds remaining. I should have received refund for $225.34, but received refund check for $185.78 on 9/15/2022. There is a balance of $39.56 that needs to be refunded to me. The lady who answered the phone in September 2022 acknowledged that the company owes this balance and will talk to the accountant. But I never received the remaining balance. Since our last communication in September, the company phone is not being answered.The company needs to refund me $39.56.

    In May of this year, I saw that my mother's (************************* - a former veteran in the Army) grass had weeds that looked like cabbage all over her front and back yard. I called Southern Spray to inquire about having them to spray the yard. They visited the house and contacted me to let me know the price. I discussed the matter with my mom, and on May 26, my 90 year old mother paid $226.26 to Southern Spray for a year of service. Due to illness, my mother no longer resides at her home but she lives with me at my residence. Two weeks ago, I went to my mother's home and I was horrified by the appearance of her grass. It was covered with the exact same weeds that I saw in May when the service was initiated. I called Southern Spray and was told that someone would go out to check the property and get back with me. A week later, no one had gotten back with me. Last week, I went back to the house and I saw that still, nothing had been done. On Wednesday of this week, I called again and requested a call back from the manager of the company. The person who checked the record said that someone would be going out to check the property. I told them that this was what I'd been told two weeks ago and that now, I wanted to speak with the manager AND I wanted a full refund. To date, I have not received any calls from Southern Spray, nor have I been contacted about my mother receiving a refund. I tried calling them again today. While their voicemail indicates that they open at 8am, I called between 8am and 10am approximately 8 times and no one answered the phones.
