    I called mr electric and they responded the same day .a technician was sent next day .i needed some basic work finding a short and installing a ceiling fan and a security light.. i talked to tech about pricing .... i not belive it when he told me his rate would be 300.00 per hr .to repair the short .which he said would be minimun of 800.00 !!! And to top it off he wanted 250.00 to install one ceiling fan...which is already wired from previous fan...iam a senior disabled vet not a atm machine

    We would like to extend our sincerest apologies for any frustration you may have experienced. Your concerns are important to us, and we truly appreciate the opportunity to address them. Larry spent about an hour doing a diagnostic in your attic, but he didn't find any issues. The diagnostic charge was $300, and as explained, is applied as a credit towards any work performed. We use flat rate pricing, by the job, not by the hour. The quote you received from Larry was for multiple items, not not installing your ceiling fan. Technically, he could have charged you for the time he spent doing the diagnostic, but only charged the $49 service call fee. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address your feedback. It's invaluable to us, and we will use this experience to continuously improve our services.

    Service representatives Darrin and Travis replaced/rewired several faulty electrical switches in my home, and replaced several old fluorescent systems with LED lighting Darrin recommended. They were very friendly, efficient, and professional, and I was most satisfied with the recommendations and the results of their work.
