    On 06/21/2022, I signed a contract (#1895) with ACG Property Management and Home Services to install new drywall in my home. The new drywall was supposed to be installed, taped, mudded, and sanded as well as the ceilings textured. Once finished, the drywall was supposed to be "ready to paint".
    On 06/21/2022, I paid the owner of the company, **** **********, a cash deposit of $6,600. The owner told me the job would take approximately 2 weeks to complete.
    The contract also stated that the final payment will be due upon completion of the job. On 07/02/2022, the owner asked me for more money and I paid him $900. On 07/10/2022, he again asked me for more money so I paid him an additional $600. On or around 07/27/2022, he once again asked me for more money so I paid him an additional $2,580. On 08/04/2022, I paid him another $2,300, and the final payment of $537.55 was paid on 08/12/2022. In all, I paid him a total of $13,517.55 and as of 09/14/2022, the job still hasn't been finished.
    Not only have the ceilings in the hallway, kitchen, and living room not been textured, there are hundreds of places in the drywall that need to be repaired/redone even after almost 3 months. The owner has promised me on numerous occasions that he would finish the job but he never did. The house is vacant and he had access to the job 24/7 but chose not to finish the work he was paid for.
    On Thursday, 09/08/2022, I contacted **** to come to get his tools and other items from my home so I could hire someone else to finish the drywall job. I gave him until 09/10/2022 at 12:00 PM to get his tools, he called and asked for a time extension, which I granted. On 09/13.2022, I sent him a text message asking him to pick up his belongings so they wouldn't be stolen. He became belligerent and started blaming me for him not being able to finish the work and when I told him about all the defects in the supposedly "perfect" drywall, he called me a liar and refused to go into the house to look.
