I have attached a more detailed Word document, since this area will not allow me to copy the full 1049 words. I hired Custom Concrete Solutions to place a new surface on my garage floor back in August of 2024. The cost was $5387, of which I was told to pay a 50% deposit equaling $2693.50. This was paid and a copy of the deposited check attached. After payment, ***, the contractor and business owner who I worked with, repeatedly postponed the work. During the course of scheduling, I had to try to contact him numerous times by phone, text, and email. He would rarely respond and only with excuses. In early December, he cancelled the work and stated he would refund the deposit. Issue was related to what he insunated as work related medical issues. Even after being told he would refund the money, there were several postponements. Then I had to, again, call and text, to get his attention. Many attempts were made. My final attempts, phone message and email, was on January 22, 2025, and final text was on January 24, 2025. I never got any responses nor did I get my deposit back. I have attached more details in a Word document and images of the check that *** deposited. I also attached a Word document which contains all calls and texts back and forth between their company phone number *************) and my phone *************). The priority is to see if I can get my deposit back. A smaller desire is to know that the contract has been cancelled.
