I sat on this review for a long time because I did not want to write this while I was angry. Now, it seems I am not the only one who had this experience with AB Powersports. Their total lack of communication, terrible time management, dishonesty, incompetence, and unexplainable billing make this, hands down the WORST company I have ever dealt with. My bike had been sitting for a while and needed the fuel system flushed & carbs redone. Easy stuff, and I was happy to find a local shop to do the work! I was given an estimate of “around $350” and told they were “a little behind” and it would be 2 weeks. Fine. The next 10 weeks can be summed up with; I called every few days, was lied to, assured I was “next in line” and it would only be "a couple more days", only to find out they hadn’t started it. This happened over and over. After a while they couldn't even keep their lies straight. I was told “waiting on parts” on 2 different occasions, weeks apart, when all that was needed were 2 carb rebuild kits (****** overnight, $50). I was very patient and only called when they said the bike would be done (about every 3 days). When they did answer the phone it was always the same runaround and lies. I was told repeatedly "It's almost done!”, or “You’re next!”. After 2-1/2 months it was finally “finished”, and the bike ran exactly like it did before, like nothing had been done at all! Then the bill was almost THREE TIMES what was estimated to me! So, what I was told would take "a couple of weeks" and $350 took the entire summer and cost me $960. To rub a little salt in the wound, they gave it back to me without enough gas to get home (<5 miles). I had to push it down Rutherford Blvd! I take no pleasure in writing this. I wish I could give a great review to a local shop, but that just isn't the case. There was nothing good about this experience. I have a few older metric bikes and it is hard to find a shop to work on them, but these guys will NEVER get another dime from me!
