    Stay away from Meineke! They say they guarantee repairs. I had a repair of an evaporator line done there and it only lasted two weeks. The reason being that it was put together with SUPERGLUE. Also, they performed a diagnostic which didn’t need to be done, nor did it yield any results. I already spent $1015 with them to replace the valve cover gaskets and the spark plugs which was very overpriced. I don’t have a problem with that because that is what I asked for. I did not know it was so overpriced at the time. However, they will not return my money on either the failed evaporator line or the useless diagnostic test. Both together totaled $285. When I asked for my money back, they told me that the only way I could get it back was to have more work done by them and they will give me a discount. Why on earth would I want to have more work done by them? They priced some stabilizer link replacements for $550. I had priced them and found a couple of places that they were only $285. What Meineke offered me is $260 off the $550. As you can see, they would not be out anything and I would not have a refund to have the work performed elsewhere. I have never heard of a return policy like they have. I no longer trust them to do any work on my car and I had to hire another mechanic to do the evaporation system. They ripped me off big time and I am a little embarrassed. They took advantage of a single woman that knew little about cars. When I put this on social media, another customer of their’s chimed in and said it took about a month to get their car back and the repairs were so substandard. These people even said that Meineke punctured the gas tank and they knew it was from the lift. Meineke said it was like that when it was brought in when Meineke actually did the damage. They quoted them an exorbitant rate to replace those parts. It was nearly $1000, I believe.
    These people must be stopped!
