    Dec 2022 - ordered shed with $100 deposit *** 2023 - delivery March 2023 (thru *** 2024) - made timely payments Nov or early Dec - prepaid through ***ruary 2024. Requested a statement with several breakdowns for payoff (they do not provide monthly statements, just a website pay portal); noticed a monthly "Rental Fee" of 40%, usury Jan 2024 - obtained storage unit in my local town, moved my belongings & contacted the company to pick up the shed January 15, 2024 - requested removal of shed; runaround begins DAILY emails - requesting a pickup date Jan 25, 2024 - pickup Jan 31, 2024 - inquired about refund, no response until I threatened to sue *** 3, 2024 - informed payment would go out in 7-10 days from *** 1 *** 17, 2024 - inquired about refund. No response until, again, I threatened with a lawsuit to include damages *** 19, 2024 - **** tracking rec'd *** 22 - tracking showed no movement; screenshot emailed the company informing them that this had better not be another ploy to not refund me *** 23, 2024, miraculously, **** showed JUST received from their facility March 4, 2024 - again movement halted March 11, 2024 - still no movement; email with another screenshot of the **** tracking I don't know what kind of chicanery these people are involved in (actually, I have an idea, but will not get into it here), but this is not acceptable and at this point, I want a refund of every ***** I gave these companies (conglomerate/affiliates) over the last year. They received 12 months of payments of $200 per month, charged fees to use their online site to make payments, never provided statements until requested, kept BOTH negotiable instruments used to pay off the balance twice while they rejected the payoff, and now are holding my refund money hostage March 11, 2024 - still no movement; on hold with **** as again no response from this company.

    While I FINALLY received the refund well overdue, I'm far from satisfied with the company's business dealings. As there was no option to explain this, I chose not to respond. It should not have taken nearly 2 months of cajoling and filing a negative report against them to get the company to do the right thing. This company uses predatory lending practices, excessive usury, and fraud in their daily practices. They stole 2 negotiable instruments and never gave credit for them. I realize I will need to take another means of collection against them for the credit I'm due, but I did not want, by any means, to construe that I'm satisfied with their actions.
