    I have recently used the facility of clean thread super laundry and during that service, all my house bedding and clothing that was washed that day had contracted a bed bug infestation. I went back to address with business as the units in which our product and others have washed in are so infested with the bug that they are crawling in the displays of the machines. We have pictures to prove it was fro. Their machines as well as the bugs are still infested in the machines as of today. I have stopped by every day since the incident (October 27th and 28th) and no one is on sight and I have left several messages on the contact number they supplied explaining the issue and a resolution of replacing my damaged and unusable items. Contact number in which I left the messages is *************. I would like to get reimbursed for the bedding and the clothing as well as the luggage that has been damaged and infested to the point of no use and trashed. Myself and my kids have been bitten several times and it has been a nightmare.

    ************ and a female companion arrived in our laundromat on 11/3/22. His allegations of a bed bug infestation are simply not true, even though he may think otherwise. He is basing this allegation upon seeing a bug in the electronic display of a washing machine. While we agree the insect was unsightly and an embarrassment to us, it was not a bed bug. The dead insect was removed after his visit and identified by our pest control service specialist as a juvenile cockroach. We treat to prevent pests on a quarterly basis and more often if pests are observed. After a general inspection of the remainder of the facility, no bed bugs were found.  Bed bugs can be easily killed by washing clothes in 120-degree water (which we provide in our washers) or by the high heat from the dryers. Concerning the specific customer visit, I must point out that the female companion told our attendant that they had recently dealt with bed bugs in their home. Once they thought this was a bed bug, the female took all clothes from the washer and threw them in the trash.  The clothes never left our facility.
    We take pride in running a safe, clean, well-maintained facility and will continue to hold ourselves to this high standard.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I was never with a female attendant so that must of been a different incident.  I was alone and washed bedding and clothes on cold water setting with no dryer used as I only air dry my clothes so they dont shrink.  This was not me and I never spoke with any attendant as there was none on duty any of the 3 times I was there.  I left several messages on the phone number provided but never ever talked with anyone and thats why I reached out to BBB.  The pictures I have taken are in fact bed bugs and have been confirmed as so.  I have never had bed bugs until this incident and the only outside source it could have came from was from clean threads.

    This customer was in our facility on 11/03/22. He stated he left several voice messages, however, there has only been one message on our answering machine. On that message, he stated he had been traveling. He possibly picked up the bed bugs while traveling, which is not uncommon. Bed bugs don't live in the washers or dryers because there is no food source for them there. No bed bugs were found in any of the washers when inspected by our pest control specialist on 11/18/22. We have worked with them to provide additional treatment for roaches. We stand by our original response in regard to his problem.
