  After signing a contract over a year ago for replacement glass for our business window, I was recently informed that this company, who has told me on multiple occasions that my replacement glass has been ordered, can now not find glass to match. I have been given the run around and lied to multiple times. At the first visit, the window was measured, contract was signed, and order was placed. After months of waiting for the replacement and multiple phone calls, I was told that the order was lost and a new repair man was sent out to remeasure the window. A new order was supposedly placed, and after waiting more months and being told that the order was placed, I was told that it in fact, was not. It has been over a year and my business still has a shattered window, only to be told today when I called again, that they can not find windows to match.

  Hamilton Glass has tried multiple times to order replacement insulated units from 3 different glass manufacturers. ********** was not lied to and we relayed information that we were given from our suppliers. Each time we were told it could be matched and order placed with 6-8 week lead times. Each time orders were not filled. Hamilton Glass was not notified by our suppliers until after the orders had been placed and lead times expired that the order couldn't be filled. We have had different manufacturers representatives visit the office to attempt to match the existing glass. We have exhausted all available resources to properly match the reflective tinted glass.

  This is absolutely not true. We were told that the order was lost and this is why someone had to come out for the second time to measure the glass. We were also told that the lady that we were dealing with was no longer at the company because she kept loosing orders. We were only told after waiting for over a year, that the windows could not be matched. We were never told this information prior, only that the order was lost. We had called multiple times and assured that someone would call us back regarding our orders, and no one ever did. After multiple calls without returns, I finally asked to speak to the owner. This is when I was told by the new receptionist that they couldn't get it in and that was it.

  We could not find a match to your glass after several attempts from multiple vendors at no expense to you.
  There is a global shortage of reflective gray tinted glass and we received very little information from our fabricators who in turn were getting little to no information from the manufacturers.
  This matter is closed.
