On September 11, 2024, I called for a locksmith to address a mailbox lock that wouldn't open. I managed to figure out the problem and called the in route tech to cancel. The tech stated he was only down the street. I told him he could stop by and talk. He charged me $106.00 for the service call. I remember the ad specified clearly $19.00, but he stated that wasn't the case. I made several attempts to contact the management of the company on the invoice. The first time, I spoke with a lady who identified herself as a dispatcher and she had access to the invoice. She told me lock work had been performed. My copy of the invoice was illegible and the electronic copy had no reference to any work. No call from the company was returned, so I made another attempt to call, but this time I kept getting a recording "No one is available to take your call, goodbye." This persisted 3 times before I used my other phone and was subsequently answered by a dispatcher. I explained the situation, gave her the invoice number and asked if she could read off the invoice the details of charges. She told me she didn't have access to that, but stated she would have someone from management call me. After a few hours, I called back using the second phone and received the same "no one is available" message. Today is Sept. 13th and I still haven't heard from anyone at that company.

We are willing to process the refund of $85.24; however, we’ve had challenges in communicating with the client. He tends to interrupt and insist on his preferred solution without fully considering the details we’ve explained.
We did inform him over the phone that an extra service charge would apply due to the rush-hour timing, and that this charge would not be voided if the job was canceled. Despite this, he agreed for our technician to come. Unfortunately, he canceled the appointment while the technician was already nearby.
