    I was working with South College discussing attending their college. They took my credit card over the phone with the intent of finalizing an application to attend their school. After being told that my credits wouldnt transfer over to another institution to get the degree of my choice I opted out of going over finances and payments and completing the application.

    Around January 2024, I saw an add on ******** regarding South College's Doctor of Education program. In the add, and during all communication with the **** I was told that the student could work at his own pace. Also, I was told that the student could complete within a year. The representative also advised that one student completed in six months. However, this was deception with the intent to coerce me to enroll in the program. After enrolling in the program, I finished the first two courses with the first two months. After the first two course completions, I took a course with Dr. **** as the professor. Dr. **** too extremely too long, longer than five days to grade student assignment submissions. I complained to no avail. During the ninth course. he professor took seven days to grade. I was not able to work at my own pace. My advisor admitted I was mislead and the previous staff were fired. I have a copy of the job posting for the professor. It reads the will grade within 48 hours.

    Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint. In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the College cannot share non-directory information with third party entities unless the student provides written authorization and completes the necessary release forms. We do not have a signed release form at this time. Due to FERPA, the College is not in a position to respond other than to say that it disagrees with the complaint. Further, the College addressed these concerns through internal procedures.
