We own a Fencing business called ****** Fencing LLC. We are family owned and operated and are very small. We typically pay for advertising to get our business out there. We were contacted by **** with MyBaseGuide initially saying that he can get our information into the airforce base community and that their website is highly used by military personnel and they are very reliant on MyBaseGuide. He said he is a SGT. ******* and has used it many times. We believed him because the information he gave us looked legit. We have been paying them for about 5 months about 239 automatically comes out every month and haven't received 1 lead. We've tried reaching out to them about it and no body will answer the phone or respond to our emails. We are at a loss and don't know what to do. Our husband and I have children and are having a very hard time through the winter and we can hardly keep up as it is.

MyBaseGuide takes this type of concern very seriously. On 12/6/22, ****** Fencing was contacted by their assigned Client Success Manager to inform them that they would like to schedule a time to introduce our brand new reporting dashboard to show this customer exactly what they have received from their partnership in terms of how many individuals have seen their ads and have contacted them through this marketing campaign. Instead of scheduling a time to meet to go over the reporting or analytics dashboard, this customer emailed us back requesting to cancel without even seeing the benefit from their marketing. MyBaseGuide can prove that we are placing ****** Fencing's business in front of the desired audience and marketing their business appropriately. I will have the Client Success Manager contact this business to show them the impressions and clicks from the marketing campaign and just how we are adding value as promised.

My Based Guide promised to get me exposure to over 50,000 (not including civilians) military soldiers, and that those individuals coming in and out of Fort Benning would be in need of my services. As of 11/2021, I have not received one potential client. I've contacted them several times in reference to this. They sent email stating these escalated numbers that clicked on my business on My Base Guide site, and hundreds that directly clicked on my website. This was and is a lie. I'm a new Credit Repair Business and clearly informed him exactly what I was looking for. I clearly explained that I was looking for ways to generate traffic and exposure to those in need of my services, to my website. Furthermore, I was assured that I would definitely get the exposure. I explained my company's position as a baby company, and that $6000 was a lot to fork over and would prove to be a hardship if this is a futile investment. I was assured that this has proven to be successful with other business and didn't see why it would be any different with my business. Over the course of time, I've emailed and called ****** several times in reference to no potential clients coming to my site. He continued to give me reasons that just didn't make sense. I requested an expert to look at my site, and it was founded that the number ****** sent to me, were bogus. My business is hurt dramatically by trusting this business to stand by their promise and deliver.

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/02) */
MyBaseGuide takes the claims made by this individual seriously. Anytime this type of complaint comes through, it is with the utmost importance that we look into this individuals account to ensure that we have delivered on the partnership. This individual signed on to MyBaseGuide to promote her business to the local military community. That is exactly what MyBaseGuide has done and we have the data and delivery to prove it. The analytics delivered to this customer shows that we are promoting her business and that our audience has not only seen her ads, but they have also clicked on her ads to learn more about her business. That information is in no way false or fabricated. ****** has been thorough and diligent in his communication and explanation with her. This individual claims that the numbers given to her are bogus, which is 100% impossible. MyBaseGuide is and continues to be dedicated in delivering what each partner purchases and helping each client with their questions to better understand should they have any type of concern. We have delivered the exposure that this customer has purchased, and again we can prove that.

    Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
My Based Guide is not being honest at all. If they were, there would be absolutely no reason for this complaint. I have a new business and would never hand over $6000 on a possibility or probability. I've had professionals look at my site and My Based Guide site, and the numbers they gave are definitely BOGUS. There's no way that the amount of individuals, (My Based Guide claimed), clicked on my web page from My Based Guide site. Not one click was tracked
My Base Guide over sell and under delivered to me on a massive scale. For them not to return my money equates to me giving them $6000 for a Deceptive Speech. If My Based Guide was doing its job as they sold me on, I would have had a minimum of 100 clients per month. To date, still not one client. If My base Guide was ethical, honest and fulfilling their promise as they claim, I wouldn't be here filing this complaint. Due to my family military affiliation, and My Based Guide military affiliation, I never dreamed that I would have to be concerned about this level of deception. Once again, I'm requesting a Full Refund. I'm confident that if this is not settled here, I will pursue this in court and confident that I will win. You can't produce real, authentic numbers out of thin air. With real numbers, real results are produced. You, (MBG) have not produced anything for me. The professionals will be able to prove that at your expense.

    Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2022/08/05) */
I would politely ask that this individual show us that professionals looked at her page and indicated that the analytics that we gave her are false. Our analytics come straight from ******* and are no way fake, as that would be illegal. MyBaseGuide has spent adequate time and detail explaining each aspect of this individuals campaign, but she refuses to accept any of it. I can provide any proof needed to show that these claims made by this individual are false.

    Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2022/08/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I absolutely do not accept the response. For one, I've previously attached the finding from a renowned professional SEO. Two screenshot of the findings showing that you (My Base Guide) are not doing, and have not done what you claimed. An untrained monkey could easily ascertain that. If you were doing what you say, please tell me where are the results???? Show me the $6000 worth of results. From 11/2021 To date 8/11/22) not one potential client. I know it's down right insane for anyone to think they can throw around such huge numbers without coughing up 1 potential client. I wrote you every 2 to 3 months asking you what was going on, and that I wasn't seeing any traffic, and you continued to hand out those same elevated numbers that never yield 1 result. Just refund my money so that I can purchase real help for my business, and you can go back to doing what you do. And this doesn't have to be taken any further legally.
