Seems like a bit too much business and set up for the fee structure, with little to no guarantees for results. $20;=$60k is a lot to invest without having examples of financial success to back it.MyBaseGuide

I signed a year long advertising contract with MyBaseGuide for my new business, paying upfront. Assisting veterans, active military, and their families is very important to me, and this seemed like the perfect way to connect with them.
After a few months of very few to no leads, we decided to reach out and see what was going on. We were told that the company was going through changes and adjusting their advertising methods. We stayed in contact with our rep, meeting with her monthly and doing everything possible to help them improve our campaigns. While she was always eager to help, we never saw any effectiveness from our campaigns. The analytics on their dashboard are extremely misleading (as the rep agreed with us). There was never any progress, improvement, or leads from our campaigns.
When we tried to reach out to someone higher up in the company, we got no response. After following up, weeks later, we finally got a response that made absolutely zero sense- claiming that since they can't guarantee results, it is not their fault that we had no results. (Extremely unprofessional answer).
I felt like my business was a guinea pig to this company. They were testing out and changing their methods at MY COST. I'm not sure if MyBaseGuide is a complete scam, or just a company that has no idea what they are doing, but please do not waste your money here. Please be careful and listen to these reviews before you think about signing with them.MyBaseGuide

MyBaseGuide does its absolute best to give very clear details regarding our partnerships. Our dedicated team demonstrates step-by-step demos of our offerings before bringing a partner onto our platform so that there is no misunderstanding about what will be included in each campaign. Any amount charged to this customer would have been discussed prior and would be agreed upon by both parties in the contract. Our team had numerous discussions with this customer showing him the data of his campaign and that it was performing to expectations, but this customer refused the data and was expecting something that was never discussed on the front end. When our dedicated team tried to speak with this customer regarding his campaign, we were hung up on.Review fromJustin W.

I recently started my firm in May of 2023. I am a former Marine, and I always look for the opportunity to assist other members of the armed services, veterans, and their families. MyBaseGuide was marketed to me as a service to do just that, and I could not have been more excited to partner with them. However, upon signing a year contract and paying around $400.00 a month to utilize their services their representative essentially disappeared. He will periodically respond via email, but they have not provided me the link to create a profile to view my engagement, and I have yet to see a single client from their service. When I voiced my concerns and asked to terminate the agreement for lack of performance on their end they advised me that I have a one year contract and that should I fail to make any payments then they would refer me to collections. The only way I know I am even involved with MyBaseGuide is because they charge me money every month, aside from that their marketing has literally done nothing for me. Their customer service, or lack there of, is quite possibly the worst I have ever experienced. This is another example of a predatory company that takes advantage of small veteran-owned business. 1000/10 do not recommend using their services. I hope you are all more careful than I was and you look up their reviews BEFORE you engage with them.MyBaseGuide

When this customer partnered with MyBaseGuide, our team was very prompt and got his campaign set up within our timeline of campaign completion. This customer was assigned a dedicated Client Success Manager that scheduled a walk-through of the campaign and how to log in and view the progress of the campaign. All of this information is documented in emails from this customer and his Client Success Manager. This customer also had scheduled check-ins with his Client Success Manager, and the customer did not attend those check-ins. This is also documented. Out of the blue, this customer sent an email and wished to cancel their partnership. The Client Success Manager explained that he would be happy to set up a meeting to address any concerns that this customer may be experiencing, but also let the customer know of the cancellation policy that was agreed upon by both parties before signing the agreement. This customer ignored the chance to meet with his Client Success Manager to discuss these concerns. Once a concern is raised, we do everything we can to meet with a customer and discuss those concerns. In this instance, this customer refused and accused us of untrue things. Our team has been very responsive with a quick turnaround in responding to this client, so I am unsure why this client is stating that we did not provide him with prompt communication.Justin W.

Over a year later and I am still dealing with these frauds. I just got an email from a collection agency saying that I owe this bogus company $3,600.00 for services that were NEVER provided. I called every number that I have available to me to discuss this matter with a person and they are all disconnected. Additionally, I have sent multiple emails. I presumed that when I advised that I was not going to be paying for services that were not being provided in November of 2023, that this fraudulent company would just let it go and take the money that they had already gotten as their consolation prize. Apparently, that was not enough and they think they are entitled to more. I am an attorney, a Marine Corps veteran, and now I am ******. Not only will I not be giving them a penny, I am now going to make it my mission to get the money I paid them back and to expose them for what they are. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY. It is disgusting that there are orgnaizations like this that will actively prey on veterans.Review fromWellness M

1 starMy base guide never explained. The contract was non cancible and has taken $400 out of my account.
For work, they claim to have done.
Trying to Say that I owe them $1200. Because I signed a contract. I've emailed several people, and only hunter. Sarah emails me back about a flipped switch, That he cannot turn on he claims that he. Has, fulfilled this part of the contract. He has also. Threatened to report my business to the Credit bureau's as delinquent on the contract. I stopped the payments when I realized after 31 days.
I received Zero new clients on ****** analytics as well as my marketing Team. Somebody needs to stop these people.Review from

1 starThey have good salesmen and saleswomen to sale you advertising packages on their platforms claiming that it will have great exposure online to increase sales and lead generation. This has not been a success for our company. I haven’t gotten any customers referrals from this online marketing yet since I started in April of 2023, Not a single one. It has not worked for our company but might work for others. There is no refund and it’s a year contract with automatic renewal. One must request to cancel the renewal, it cannot be done on their platform. Not happy and wouldn’t recommend MyBaseguide.
My Saleswoman was Marolynn. After the sign up and payment received, she responded to my email once and never again. They are well aware of my dissatisfaction but not once have they even tried to contact me. That is the most Disappointing and I am upset for losing advertising money that I could have used elsewhere for much better results. I received monthly reports showing so many people saw my ad and went to our website but I have not gotten any customer through them.
The ad was for Auto Transportation. I have moved many cars for the military personnel that found me online through ****** or **** or word of mouth but none through Mybaseguide advertising.Review fromandrew h

1 starThis money took thousands of dollars for advertising. They never gave me service nor my money back. I have called, emailed and left voicemail. They refuse to contact me back. How can a company working with military professionals can just and flat out just steal? I’m a honest hard working small business owner here in Hawaii with its tuff enough making ends meet. To trust a company to give thousands for no service or a refund. I want my money back plus interest.Review fromKyle S.

1 starI have just started with them, I own ******** *** ******. They have hustled me to handling my company’s commercial and get us exposure on their website that was supposedly “military trusted” website used to help military members relocating. I was set up with a guy Deven D*****. Immediately I noticed unprofessional work as far as graphic design, my 13 year old could do better.
I then reached out to a team member who is active duty currently in Japan active duty in the marine corp. I asked him since he is currently relocating to ********** ***** if he has ever heard of them? The answer was no. I am now realizing this is a scam. Originally they hit me up for $24,000, unfortunately I agreed to $12,000 before realizing they sold me a falsehood.
I will contacting an attorney and during them out of this contract. Rather give my money to a lawyer than a group of incompetent hustlers.
Do not fall for their scam.Review fromSylvia G

They contacted me and I initially signed the contract as well as asked for a copy of the contract. I received a copy of some type of document but I informed the guy who represented the organization where is the contact information of the person who did the contract with them. I explained how they are not rated well on the better business customer rating and informed them that I will have to do research on the contract. I cancelled my card and called the bank to tell them that I don't trust the organization.MyBaseGuide

On 9/20/22, this customer signed a year-long contract with MyBaseGuide. Our sales team informed this customer that we had DoD Contract with Fort Jackson for the base guide. This customer asked for documentation to support that we were in fact contracted with the base. Our team provided this customer with the official documentation of the partnership with the base. That documentation even has the official contact of the base that signed the document. This individual refused to believe this documentation and demanded that Fort Jackson call her and that she would not call Fort Jackson herself because she was "too busy" to do so. MyBaseGuide has not falsified any information and we provided the requested proof. The claims made in this BBB comment by the customer are 100% false.
