On March 4, 2024, a tractor-trailer rig drive working for Western Express, headquartered in Nashville, TN, passed multiple end-of- road warnings to drive past the dead end and down our gravel driveway in Greensboro, NC. The driver continued into our yard in an attempt to turn the rig around. In the process, he plowed deep ruts into the yard, got stuck, and had to be towed out. He was so severely embedded that a portion of his front bumper pulled off in the mud as he was pulled from behind.
We reported the incident while it was happening to Western Express. We filed an incident report with all the elements requested, including an estimate from a landscape service totaling $2,525.75, with costs for each line item for grading, adding soil, tamping and replanting. We attempted to settle compensation via multiple communications during a 5-month period, while the company delayed via lack of response, computer glitches, personnel changes, and ever-changing documentation requirements.
In particular, I'd like to acknowledge the Property Damage Investigator, whose specialty seems to be moving the goal post. My favorite response to our landscape damage estimate: "There is no need to for new topsoil,  our driver didn’t not take the existing topsoil with him when he left.   Given the dimensions of the affected area the demand is inflated compared to multiple previous similar claims." BTW, dimensions of the affected area was never requested nor provided.

Offered pennies despite them acknowledging fault in a parking lot accident. Won't do any good to file a lawsuit because a judgement is just a piece of paper they can literally ignore. Don't bother hiring an attorney either as that won't get you a better offer. Offered 20% of the damages and 14% of the downtime costs. What a joke. I hope they lose their privilege to self-manage their insurance claims. If you have this happen to you, file a Dept of Insurance complaint withe TN. Its time these people are stopped from destroying their competition.

This company is a joke! they hit our truck while it was parked in 2021, and we haven't been paid yet. Joshua J***** and George B**** in claims and Oliva the HR manager refuse to return calls or emails. It's a shame that they can self insure and deny everything that comes across their desk instead of properly paying claims and timely payments. Good luck to those of you attempting to get paid from them., We are making a claim with the Attorney General next due to this type of behavior.

Western Express & Western Express adjusters along with ********** * ****** refusing to pay insurance claim where their insured driver hit our stand new 2023 truck. Adjusters offering only 50% of estimate to repair. Refusing to pay trucker downtime for when truck in shop. Refusing to pay diminished value on my new 2023 they insured driver hit 2 day after my truck was in the road.
Why? because the driver didn’t lie about injuries. He did not have so they know he will not be able to get legal representation.
I’m reporting both to every agency available.
      Attorney general
      Local Nashville news
      Consumer agencies
      Government insurance regulation ****
shame you should not have to lie to get Western Express or ********** * ****** to do the right thing. Or an attorney to represent you for that fact.
They have absolutely no idea the amount of energy I will invest in exposing them & getting justice.
