I signed up for the Dallas Law Certificate course with Alliance ******************************************* under my ****** Account, completed the 4-hour course following all ******************* listed. Upon finishing the training course I successfully passed the course test and was told to wait for my certification to be approved and sent to me within the next 24 hours. On May 6th, I received an email ***** ********* of Alliance ******************************************* who informed me that because my ****** Account name and real-life name did not match, I was banned from the course. The company issued a refund as I did not violate any of their requirements. This is immaterial because the Dallas Law Certificate is required to work in certain areas of TN as a security guard, and because the course took 4+ hours of my life to complete, nowhere in their list of rules and requirements did it state that ****** Account names have to match real-life names. This is deceptive advertising, which wastes the time of individuals attempting to be in compliance with state law. It impacts my livelihood in an extremely negative way.I provided photos, front and back of my TN driver's license as well as offering to send my social security number, birth certificate, or DD-214 form in order to provide more ways to confirm my identity, but was flatly refused even when offering these reasonable measures to satisfy the company.

Response to BBB in regards to complaint #********

The student ****** ***** ****** was BANNED for using an alias.

The student ****** ***** ****** was provided a FULL refund.

The Course purchased by ******* Harrison>
The Course Name used when registered was to **** *****">
The Course final exam was completed by "****** ***** ******">

ZERO Match on the Name or email to the Final Exam result.

Under these circumstances, I cannot and will not certify ****** ***** ****** 4565.

I cannot positively identify him as the person that took the final exam, simple as that.

To certify him under these circumstances would put my trainer's license at risk.

Mr ***** aka Mr ****** is the only person being deceptive.

I informed him that he could take his full refund and complete his training elsewhere.

"Alliance Training and Testing LLC is a privately owned and operated training center and we reserve the right to refuse to train or certify any student for any reason whatsoever."

This is clearly posted in our Terms of Use on the site where he completed the course at ***************************************************************************************************

Mr. ****** clearly understood this policy  > Mr ****** also need to pass the first quiz by answering "Yes" to his knowledge and acceptance of our terms to have completed the course.

Very rarely do i need to ban students, but when there is ANY doubt as to their honesty or integrity completing this ONLINE course - I will not certify them.

I will not be certifying Mr. ****** as a result.

As I informed him, Mr. ****** is always welcome to take the refund I provided to another trainer.

    Entire email chain enclosed.

I am rejecting this response because: A ****** Account username is NOT an alias, not wanting to dox myself does not indicate some kind of sinister purpose on my part, and the accusation of such is slander. I additionally provide photo ID, and offered my Social Security Number, Birth Certificate, and a copy of my DD-214 in order to verify identity for Alliance Training & Testing. The fact that they have some bog standard "we may refuse service to anyone for any reason" legal jargon does not mean their actions in this case wasn't anti-consumer, no does it mean that their front facing advertisements aren't false. I provided a screenshot of the rules and requirements they set out before the course, none of which specify that an internet username has to make a persons real life name. Perhaps Alliance Training & Testing needs to add that into their rules, or remove the ability to sign into the website with a ****** account. Additionally the email attached to the ****** Account is ************************** which Mr. Angel Rodriguez  emailed to say there was no name match, not that such a match was ever specified as being needed in the first place. He also now seems to be very sure I am, in fact, ****** ******.

    My complaint stands.

    Sincerely,

    ****** ******

Alliance Training &  Testing could not positively match the identify of the customer.

The customer's actions were purposely and unnecessarily deceptive.

The customer was provided a FULL refund.

The customer is welcome to take the full refund to another establishment that provides this training.

I am proposing the following to resolve BBB complaint  76515031D2FFB and sent by email to Mr ****** on May 13, 2025, 10:35?AM
I can register Mr. ****** ****** with his email address ************************ and provide free access to the Dallas Law Course for 30 days.

He will need to complete the entire course and pass the final exam in accordance with the requirements in order to achieve certification.

The issue I have now is State Law requires Mr. ****** to complete 4 hours of training to be eligible to take the final exam for this course.

The training he previously completed, and was provided a full refund for, was completed in the name of **** *****" and he completed the final exam with his actual name "****** ******".

If you will accept this resolution I will move forward and I believe this is a reasonable middle ground to resolve this issue.

    Sincerely, Angel.
