August 30, 2024, I had a sheriff knock on my door and serve me papers for a loan I defaulted on in 2023 with ****************** *******************************. I set up a payment plan with Cheadle Law, and I was doing great on paying it for the first almost year, I got behind a few payments, but then called and paid that in a lump sum, and they specifically told me they would NOT send any other reprimand, and I didnt have to worry about it. This time, I only got behind two payments, and they sent a sheriff to my employer and served one of the executives papers for me to have my checks garnished. They want to take 25% out of my take home pay of each check, and Im a single mom to my 3 year old daughter, with a a car payment and multiple other bills as well. They DO NOT CARE, and everyone I have spoken to (when I FINALLY AM ABLE TO GET SOMEONE TO ANWER THE PHONE AFTER CALLING A MILLION TIMES) have been BLATANTLY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. They also told me there is NO INTEREST on this, and the paper I was served with today shows over $300 worth of interest.Business Response

***** ********** is a defendant that we sued on behalf of our lender client. She is not a customer.
Our office sued Ms. ********** on behalf of our lender client to recover the balance due on a loan that Ms. ********** failed to pay as promised. On August 30, 2024, judgment was entered in favor of our lender client against Ms. ***************** Attached is a copy of the judgment. The judgment provides for post-judgment interest at the rate of 10.5% per annum. This was the Tennessee statutory post-judgment interest rate at the time of judgment.
Ms. ********** promised to pay the judgment in payments of $70.00 every two weeks, beginning September 6, 2024. Ms. ********** failed to always timely make her payments. At least one payment was returned for "insufficient funds." The last payment our office received from Ms. ********** was on March 21, 2025. On May 20, 2025, our office properly filed a wage garnishment due to Ms. ************ failure to pay as agreed. At no time did our office convey to Ms. ********** that post-judgment interest would not accrue. The judgment is final.
We ask that you please close this complaint, as Ms. ********** is not our customer. This matter has been resolved by the Court, as indicated in the attached judgment entered on August 30, 2024.

I am going to call the *********************** on Monday 6/9/25 and get a copy of my original document. I am sure there was no interest shown on the copy the officer served me, but cannot find my original document at the moment. Of course they would say they didnt ever tell me interest wouldnt accrue, because it was WRITTEN, it was VERBALIZED to me by one of their employees. I specifically asked when I called and set up this payment plan if interest wouldnt accrue accrue, and a female employee of theirs that I was speaking to at the time, did tell me that I would not accrue any interest. Also, yes, I had missed payments, but I always called when I realized it and got it back current. One time, I was 3 payments behind, and I called and apologized and paid it. I asked the employee then if something was going to happen when/if I got behind, and she told me No, maam. As long as you catch it up and make it current. But here we are, and I was told I was only 2 payments behind this time, and they are garnishing my check after they said prior that nothing would happen as long as I caught it up asap. I understand the garnishment, but DONT TELL SOMEONE SOMETHING IF ITS NOT TRUE. Also, Im a single mom to my 3 year old daughter that only brings home $400 a month after all my bills are paid, including paying yall. I cant wait to get this paid off. Worst experience ever. Yes, I caused the debt/collection, and I will continue to pay it, but Im just letting everyone out there know to NEVER USE ADVANCE FINANCIAL, nor work with this firm, if they dont have to.Customer Answer

This attorney owns a lein that is on any property I may sell. They charge interest by the day. I've attempted to get a return call multiple times and even had others call to try resolve the lein. This has been going on since November of 2024. The interest continues to be charged and I've not been given the opportunity to resolve this debt by the lein holder.Business Response
