    We checked into this hotel on 7/28/23. As soon as we went to the floor our room was on it smelled like mold really bad. Within hours I had a headache and another person in our group got a sore throat. The next day, the floor we were on smelled like raw sewage and it made us even more sick. They did move us to a different room at that time but it took us over an hour to get them to agree. We also noticed that none of the fire extinguishers were out of service, there was no operating certificate in the elevator and the emergency phone out by the pool did not work. All in all, a very unsafe place for people to be staying. We asked for a refund due to the fact that we got sick and had to take several hours out of one of our vacation days to deal with this. When we checked out and tried to talk to ***** the manager he yelled at us and told us we just wanted something for free and proceeded to tell us to leave. I have written a complaint to *********************** in TN. We rented two different rooms from this establishment and we both want full refunds.
