On 2/27/24, I called Lundi's Keep It Moving and spoke with ****. I requested a quote for services for a loading a moving truck on a 2 bedroom condo. He asked me to provide a an inventory of contents of condo. We were on the phone for 9 minutes. He indicated based on my inventory that it would be 2 men at $75/hr. I inquired if they would provide all equipment or if they charged an equipment fee. He stated that some of his movers have dollies and some do not. I responded that he needed to send movers with appliance dolly to move washer and dryer, along with a dolly to move large furniture and approximately ***** boxes. He agreed that he would send his movers with dollies. I agreed to his quote, and was asked to ***** the money up front for a 2 hour minimum for $150. He sent me the request from the company's Venmo acct, I paid the ******** he booked the a load only service for 9am on 3/7/24.On 3/7/24 two men showed up without dollies. I called and spoke with ****, and he advised he would send the men to the closest hardware store to purchase a dolly. The men did not speak clear English and they were speaking to **** in another language. It was decided a dolly was not needed to stating "there were too many boxes to get a dolly through" even through the boxes were loaded first before heavy furniture and the washer and dryer. As a direct result of not using dollies and improper loading of the moving truck, they damages the hardwood floor of the condo, ripped aprox a 2 ft area of vinyl flooring, and damaged several pieces of furniture. I called again and spoke with **** and sent texts to ************,and was told to submit a claim with pictures to *************************** I called on 3/8 to request refund and reparations for damaged furniture and the woman I spoke with who said she was a manager denied the refund and refused to let me speak with anyone else. I have called, text, and emailed multiple times with no response.
