This is partially true. I did have ********* to some drywall while he was here.

As for the columns, they looked fine when he finished, bur started cracking  shortly after.

**** with MidSouth had ********* come back to fix the work. He never finished.

Mr. **** was very nice and said he'd get my paint back.

********* with ProMaster Painting didn't return Mr. ****** calls.

****, with MidSouth was totally aware that the columns were peeling shortly after the job was finished.

*** ***** contracted with our company for a specific scope of work for some repairs, which commenced on July 1, 2024. All work outlined in our signed agreement was completed to satisfaction, and final payment was received on July 15, 2024, in accordance with the terms of the contract.  At that time, there was no remaining work, and the project was closed.  A copy of the signed agreement along with before and after photos are available.

Subsequently, *** ***** contacted one of our subcontractors directly to request additional work that was outside the original scope of our agreement. This additional work was not arranged, managed, or authorized by MidSouth. While *** ***** expressed to Mr. **** that she was very satisfied with the services provided by MidSouth, she indicated dissatisfaction with the outcome of the separate agreement she made directly with the subcontractor without our knowledge. Her complaint at that time was that the subcontractor had taken her paint.  We have the paint colors used which can be mixed at ******* ******** if that is helpful to *** *****.

As this was not a company-sanctioned arrangement, MidSouth has no involvement or oversight regarding any terms, scope, or payments associated with that additional work. However, as a courtesy, we did reach out to the subcontractor and asked that he contact *** ***** directly to address her concerns.
We recommend that *** ***** continue communication with the subcontractor regarding the additional work she independently arranged. MidSouth remains committed to providing quality service within the bounds of our contractual agreements.

    Business Response

I do not see where I can respond to the customer's response.  We have had no contact with the customer since July 2024 when her job was closed.  She has never contacted us about any issues until this week and we were certainly not aware of any peeling paint.  When she spoke with ****** **** she stated she was unhappy because she needed her paint back from ProMasters and ****** advised her he would try to speak with ********* about this item.  At no time did she complain about our work or any issues with the paint peeling and in fact said she was very pleased with MidSouth - but not **************** ****** did speak with ********* with ProMasters so her statement that the subcontractor did not call us back is incorrect.  The subcontractor stated that he did do work for her outside of MidSouth and that he had made over five trips to her home and was not going.  We are not involved in this dispute.  We asked him to call the customer and he did provide us with the paint colors which we can provide to Ms. ************* A have uploaded a picture of her paint colors. If we need to respond to her response, please advise how we post that information.  We do not want this to be closed and show we did not respond to her complaint.
