    BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
    You will be charged up front a MONTH in advance
    For
    NO SERVICES PERFORMED
    with
    NO REFUNDS
    According to the owner, VIEWING an invoice is authorization to use your credit card OVER and OVER
    Not certain if this practice is legal but am certain this is not a reasonable business practice, no legit business that I know of operates in this manner.

    M.E.T. Studio of Voice is committed to offering the best vocal coaching possible, which is why we are honored to have over 100 5-star reviews online. Furthermore, we have a long history of working with students to accommodate unexpected circumstances, which is why we offered to step outside of the studio policy to work with this student.
    *** was connected with one of the associate teachers in M.E.T. Studio of Voice 2/7/24. Each incoming student is matched and connected with the teacher who will best fit their singing goals and plans.
    *** received a free vocal consultation, during which he and his teacher covered the studio policy, which states:
    -I understand the invoice will be emailed on the first business day of the month and automatically paid on the third business day of the month. I understand, once lessons are scheduled, they will be paid for. If the payment method is declined, continued attempts will be made to complete processing of the invoice.
    -I understand at least 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule my appointment. Without 24 hours’ notice before my scheduled meeting time, my lesson fee will be forfeited. Only one rescheduled appointment per month.
    -I understand that, if I need to make a change in the schedule, I am responsible for starting that conversation before the end of the month for the following month's lessons. Otherwise, the schedule and invoicing continues as normally scheduled.
    After his complimentary vocal consultation, *** was sent a consultation follow-up email in which there is a link to e-sign the studio policy. *** signed the policy 2/16/24.
    February lessons were fine, and as *** has stated, he let his teacher know about rescheduling the final February lesson (we ask for 24 hrs notice for lesson makeups).
    In alignment with the studio policy, the invoice for March lessons was sent on the first business day of the month, 3/1/24.
    My invoice records show that his invoice was viewed multiple times prior to the automatic processing on 3/4/24.
    When a refund was requested after the invoice was processed on 3/4/24, multiple options were offered (despite those options being a step outside the studio policy) to the customer.
    M.E.T. Studio of Voice is committed to offering the best vocal coaching possible, which is why we request students sign up for automatic payment (invoices are processed on the third business day of the month). We want to use our energy for teaching and planning, not tracking down payment.
