      I had a pipe burst over my storage unit TWICE while renting from Absolute Management / Abbott Storage. They are slow to react; water poured into my unit for two days AFTER they knew about it! They offered no assistance nor financial compensation for lost items. No one was even onsite to assist! Terrible, asleep-at-the-wheel management. Your items WILL NOT BE SECURE at an Absolute Management site. BEWARE.

      Due to severe cold and winter weather in the area during the week leading up to Christmas, pipes on the property burst and unfortunately affected multiple units. Shortly after being notified by the Fire Department regarding the situation, property staff was on site both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day trying to get a handle on the situation. Multiple attempts were made to get disaster mitigation companies to come out to the property but the timing of the holidays and similar incidents happening across the city made relief less accessible and daunting . During this time, additional calls to area plumbers were made and several attempts to manually stop the flow of water by property staff were made to no avail. Eventually, a call was placed to the ***** ***** Emergency Line asking that the water be turned off at the meters on site.
      On December 26th, we communicated with a sprinkler company and set an appointment for them to come to the property the following day, Tuesday, December 27th at which time they were successful at getting the water to stop leaking.
      After communicating with the tenant on several occasions, a refund was issued, and the tenant vacated the unit on January 2, 2023.
