I can't believe he calls it a company, I only saw 3 employees. I've written over $136,000 in checks ( I have them) in the past year. He was supposed to level the land, my driveway, get rid of excess material that has been laying in my yard for 6 months, and burn trees and stumps. And the biggest thing was giving him 25,000 to build a front porch. I guess I have to have some one else do it and pay twice. He should be ashamed taking advantage of an older single lady on disability. He lies and says he's going to complete the job, then when it's not complete he blames his employees, wife and children. He is a child that doesn't know how to run a company. He's always asking for more money.

I had paid Joe, the owner of Falling Timbers $1500 to have both a pile of dead trees AND 2 trees to be removed and transferred to my backyard. There's a document that I signed which agrees to that. Majority of the dead pile of trees are still on the ground where you can visibly see them in my front yard. After removing the 2 trees, Joe claimed that there was a ditch about 5-6 ft deep with a bunch of dead trees and debris near the pile of dead trees in my front yard. He proceeded to say that he needed to charge me another $1500 if I also wanted to get all the trees out of that ditch and have everything burned. I agreed to this without further research because I just wanted all of these dead trees off my yard. He said he would be back to take care of the trees the following week but he never showed, giving excuses about how we needed a burn permit which I discovered we didn't need one since we lived outside of city limits. I finally managed to get him on the phone while he was "going out of town" and requested for half of the $1500 to be credited towards burning of my trees which he has declined. Thankfully, I've found another tree guy who can burn all these trees for $800-$900, including the dead trees in the ditch. Beware of unethical and shady business tactics of Falling Timbers!! I would rate Falling Timbers a fat "0" if I could!

This company over charged for their service after signing a contract the price for services increased from a couple of thousand to over ten times. We submitted to insurance and they didn’t pay tree service their total amount. Had trouble with final payment. Be careful with this company’s business practices.
