    The Cherokee Group is a plumbing company that I called to repair my water heater. The person they sent out did not know what he was doing and did not fix my problem. He installed an incorrect igniter assembly and did not mount it to the burner assembly correctly. When he left he said he would be ordering a gas control valve which should fix the problem. Two days later when I asked him when he would be back with the part I was told he was getting it from ********* (a local hardware store) but it would take a week. I told him to forget it at that point and I would take care of it. One phone call and I had the part. I took it home and installed it but still had the same problem. Then I called another plumbing company who fixed the water heater and pointed out the problems. Cherokee group charged me $614.01 and did not give me hot water which I want reimbursed. I called them today and am waiting for a call back. If I don’t hear from them today I will be filing suit in small claims court tomorrow.
