    I BOOKED A CRUISE IN FEBRUARY WITH A $300 DEPOSIT. I PAID AN ADDITIONAL $750 IN APRIL. I NOW HAVE A MEDICAL ISSUE THAT IS THE REASON I NEED TO CANCEL. MY FIRST REQUEST TO CANCEL WAS VIA EMAIL ON MAY 6, NO RESPONSE. I HAVE LEFT VOICE MAILS WITH NO RESPONSE. I HAVE SPOKE TO A LADY WHO IDEENTIFIES HERSELF AS THE AGENTS MOM. SHE PROMISES THAT HE WILL DO THE REFUND WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS. IT DOESNT HAPPEN. I HAVE SPOKEN TO HER MULTIPLE TIMES. AGENTS NAME IS TRAVIS ROARK.

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/04) */ We did speak to the customer and informed him that it could take several weeks for the refund to be completed. The customer made 2 transactions, one by credit card of $300.00 which was refunded 6/21 as you can see on the attachment and the other by check $750.00. Since the $750.00 payment was by check we have to wait until that is processed and returned to us by the cruise line. The refund has been requested just waiting now. Since the credit card was processed on 6/21 I would think the other should be to us this week. Once we receive the remaining refund we will send a check to the customer. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2022/07/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I agree that the credit card charge of $300 has been refunded. However, I will not mark this as satisfied until I receive the check because I have been "misinformed" by this company numerous times. The first time i requested to cancel was 5/31/2022. Total I have already waited 6 weeks and 1 day. I don't know that I believe that I will have the check within 2 weeks. The $750 check cleared my account May 6, 2022.
