I hired JD Gibson Land Services to give me a bid for trimming a large tree on my new property and to access the health of the other trees for trimming. He said he was an expert with many years experience. I am a 70 year old disabled woman living alone . He came and told me 5 large four foot diameter 100+ foot tall heritage oaks and a beautiful elm tree were dead, dangerous and about to fall on my new home. When I purchased the home it was winter, no leaves on the trees. I suggested we wait a week or so to see if these trees would leave out. He told me they were dead and used all manner of terms. This home was my neighbor's mom's she brought me a photo while he was there showing them leafy and beautiful telling me they are not dead. I showed him the photo he insisted they were dead, he only had a certain amount of time in his schedule he started at 8 grand then gave me a ' deal' if I wrote the check to him & not his business. I told him I had to go out of town April 4, 5, 6th did not want to leave workers there, he promised to be done by Friday April 4th end of day bullied me into paying him 2 checks promised not to cash until the job was completed. I am running out of space here. Turns out the trees were not dead budded out as they lay cut down, he abandoned the job leaving destruction, I called his ins co who called him to tell him he must complete the job. He no showed now 12 days. It is fraud, financial elder abuse. I am so stressed, afraid of him I was clenching my teeth the dentist said today Have an ulcer sore from the stress put on antibiotics . Found him on YELP. Have all the communications, photos videos, statements from neighbors , NEED HIM TO FINISH THE JOB to remove the trees. Then I will take him to court to sue for damages. 5 Heritage Trees are very valuable, I'd of NEVER cut them down , I only wanted them trimmed. He lied for greed and now is no showing on removing the wood as agreed. Please please help me.
