Issue occurred in May 2025. They advertise one price and charged another even after I told them it was not correct, not even sure if thats legal. When you bring to their attention you have been over charged with the receipt, they will argue with you, accuse you of having more items on the counter that were never there, and basically do anything but apologize for their mistake and offer a refund. When the rude lady finally gives me the extra money she charged me back, she just throws it on the counter. This place really thinks people should pay more than advertised for mid food and unfriendly service, the owner of all things. The owner is a very, very rude woman and acts like she doesnt want to be at a business she chose to buy. This of course makes the entire atmosphere unpleasant and unwelcoming. I will never be retuning but I do think it should be noted that you can not charge someone what you want because you own the place when there are signs with prices, and argue with them because you feel like they should pay you more for no reason. Also, stop being so miserable to the customers that are trying to help you by giving you their business. This place needs some serious training on customer service.

    Business Response

Hello I manage this business. First of all this entire situation is being blown out of proportion. The adult customer ordered an item from the kids menu. Our cashier didn’t understand that and rang them up for the regular menu item. When the customer returned there was some confusion on what they wanted exactly and the size? When clarified the customer received the correct compensation for the item($3) and was apologized to. I am admitting to some confusion on the cashiers part. As for all the other comments in the complaint. The owner was not present. And how did this first time customer happen to know so much about our business? They know the owner? Know when the business was bought? This is just another effort to discredit our long time same family run business(1976) by people moving into the area who for some reason want to target our business. It is absolutely ridiculous and outrageous that we entertain such nonsense. If you don’t think we are targeted then get on yelp and read some of the nasty things people say. We try to maintain a positive experience for all customers who treat us the same. We have a zero tolerance policy for anyone showing disrespect or negative behavior to anyone in our business or staff. No one argued with them. Questions where asked to clarify exactly what they were talking about. No one threw money on the counter. No one intentionally overcharged them and they know that. I honestly can’t believe that I am having to take precious time from my day to entertain such nonsense. I thought the better business bureau was reserved for consumers with real issues? Not consumers who can just rant and lie. Come on America we can do better!!
