On October 29 2024, we paid Miracle method of Nashville the final payment of a job that totaled $1195. This money was used for miracle method to glaze and refinish our bathtub. Just recently I found a medium size yellow stain in the bottom of my tub. When I contacted Miracle method, they told me that was where the water collected and created that stain. They mentioned that I should have squeegee and dried that area off so the water wouldnt stand there. I mentioned they never explained that I would need to complete that procedure. I am a bit confused because I believed their work should have lasted longer than two months. I have asked them if they would repair the stain, but they continued to explain that I should have dried that area. They mentioned that there were three stickers on the bottom of the tub. I dont know what this has to do with anything because those stickers were there to cover up scratches that another company caused with their ladders. I would like them to correct the stain that I paid for. If they do so, I now understand what I need to do with the area of the bathtub . Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any confusion regarding the care instructions for your refinished bathtub. I understand your concern and Id like to clarify the situation for you.
When we initially performed the refinishing, we did notice the stickers on the bottom of the tub, which were there to cover up the scratches caused by the other company. However, due to the presence of these stickers, we were unable to fully assess any areas where standing water could collect. Our standard recommendation is to clean the tub regularly, pat it dry, and use a squeegee to remove any standing water. Over time, standing water can negatively affect the finish, just as it can with any surface, and may cause discoloration or damage.
I understand you were not made aware of this specific care requirement beforehand, and I apologize if that wasnt clearly communicated to you. Unfortunately, any discoloration or staining caused by standing water is not covered under the warranty, as its related to maintenance rather than the quality of the refinishing work itself.
That said, we would be happy to come back and touch up the affected area for a fee of $125.00, if you would like us to do so. Please let us know if you would like to proceed, and we will gladly schedule a time that works best for you.
We appreciate your understanding, and Im here if you have any further questions or concerns.

I am rejecting this response because:

Since Miracle Method is unable to admit their materials do not last more than two months, I am unwilling to accept their offer. I would rather pay another business to repair their product than trust this company again. I hope they explain to other clients they must dry their tub after each use. I am deeply saddened by the companys desire to charge me for their mistake.

    Sincerely,

i paid miracle method to do a floor slope and floor seal in my shower. the coating they put down keeps flaking off and the shower has never drained toward the drain it slopes to the other end of the shower. they have come out several times and patched the areas that are flaking off. but it is still doing the same thing and getting worse. i have contacted them and asked for a complete history of what they have done. they refuse to give it to me and refuse to reply to me at all anymore.. they say the warranty has expired.. i stated to them that the product has never been done correctly and the issues have never been fixed, therefore the warranty is not relevant since they have never done the job correctly and we are still having problems. the floor is flaking off and is not draining correctly. i asked for the legal teams info they refuse to give it.. i have asked for email replies and they will not return any of them.

    ****,

Thank you for reaching out to us through the Better Business Bureau. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns.

As we discussed during our initial consultation and prior to refinishing your shower pan, we identified a structural issue/the way the original shower pan was built with the shower pan itself. We advised that refinishing would not be a long-term solution due to this underlying problem, and recommended addressing the structural issue for a more permanent resolution.

Despite our recommendation, you opted to proceed with the refinishing service. While we have done our best to address your concerns and have provided service beyond the standard warranty period to ensure your satisfaction, the structural issue remains the primary cause of the ongoing problems.

We understand your frustration and regret that the refinishing service alone has not resolved the issue. Our goal is always to provide quality service and clear communication, and we apologize if there was any misunderstanding regarding the limitations of refinishing in your specific case.

We are committed to helping you find a lasting solution and recommend consulting with a contractor who can address the structural integrity of the shower pan. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please feel free to contact us directly.

    Thank you for your understanding.
