I entered into a contract with ************************************** to rent a vacation property in *************** early this year. (attached) I found the property on ******, but the owner, **** ******, told me if I wanted to use the pool in the backyard for my family, I would need to sign a contract through her company, Pristine Properties, instead of with ******* That should have raised a red flag for me, but I am a very trusting person who tends to expect people to tell the truth. Because **** was so friendly, responsive, and accommodating, I went ahead with the rental and paid a total of $4,882.62:$ ****** (Deposit Paid 1/30/2024 via CashApp)Confirmation Number: #HJWSA61 $2,000.00 (Paid 2/01/2024 via CashApp)Confirmation Number: #**BFF4X $2,382.62 (Paid 3/22/2024 via CashApp)Confirmation Number: #W823N9P In June, I began reaching out to **** via email, text, phone, and ******** Messenger and never got a response to any of my messages. I then saw on ****** that someone posted she cancelled a guest's booking 15 minutes before their arrival time, and was so alarmed, I sent her a cancellation notice well before the acceptable cancellation date, and received the attached confirmation of cancellation the next day. It was the only communication I have received from her since I paid the amount due in full in March. I have been trying to contact her ever since the end of July to collect my refund. No response. I have asked if she was okay. I have asked her to please just communicate with me, and told her I have been looking for an attorney in your area. Not responding is poor business and unacceptable. I am hoping that the BBB can help me resolve this problem before I have to resort to legal action and more expense for her, as I am sure the court will have her pay my legal fees as well. I hope to hear from you soon with a resolution. Thanks for your assistance in this matter.

Thank you for trying.  Does this mean this company/person will be listed on your records as "do not use" or "refused to answer" or "complaint ignored?"  I am just curious what anyone else would see if they looked it up at the BBB.  Again, thanks!  ***

I had a contract to stay at this property and had fully paid. 48 hours before arrival, **** cancelled my reservation due to electrical issues at the property, and indicated that I would be receiving an email with cancellation information including details on my full refund. After asking for her to send this over multiple times, I received the cancellation agreement, which indicated that I would receive my full refund in 5-7 business days. It has now been almost a month, and **** has stopped responding to any of my messages. She breached her contract and refund agreement, and I would like my refund ASAP, as I had to book alternative accommodations on my credit card, and have been paying interest on that purchase.
