  In December, I hired Precision Roofing to roof my garage. The first thing Denise said to me was "we may not have the best reviews, but..." That should've been a sign. There's a lot of nuance to the story but here's what I can fit in 2000 characters:
  Denise told me the building's framing was incorrect and she couldn't warranty it unless it was fixed. She said she would get "her guys" to do it for cheap, suggesting these were employees of Precision. She told me it would cost $3,700. I repeatedly asked for a written quote for that number, both verbally and in writing, which she repeatedly declined to provide. Less than an hour after the work was complete, she followed up asking for a check for $7,500. I told her this is not the number she originally provided and she bizarrely blamed the framers even though she was the one who gave me that number. She told me she'd take care of it. After some confusing back and forth, I reached out to the framers directly only to learn that she had been telling ME she'd get them to pay all while telling THEM she'd get me to pay. At this point it was obvious she was misleading both myself and her vendors (an entirely separate contractor she hired while telling me they worked for her) so I asked for her email to put us all on one communication. She gave me a fake email. Til that point she hadn't owned a single mistake she'd made so I asked that we chalk it up to confusion and split the difference 3 ways. She refused. I split the difference 2 ways with the framers. I told her her business practices were extremely misleading and I was going to report to the BBB. She BEGGED me not to citing how much it would hurt her business. I said fine, and moved on.
  Then, I reached out several weeks later, asking for the warranty information. Then I reached out again. And again. No answer. So here I am. My guess is they don't actually warranty their work so if you're reading this, think twice before using Precision.
