    Ben Lomand hired a contractor to install Fiber Optic lines for service down my street. I am not a Ben Lomand customer. The lines required my property to be dug. I contacted Ben Lomand and was assured the property would be repaired and left in the same condition. The digging was conducted through my end of my gravel driveway and also parallel to the street and directly down through the edge of my yard. The yard was left in terrible shape as was my driveway. I was not happy about the condition of my yard but knew it would improve as grass began to grow again. However, my driveway now has two holes at the end that holds water days after rain has ended. I contacted the office and was told the contractor would return to fix it. The contractor returned while I was at work and simply takes gravel from the end of the street to the end of my road. Nothing was done to fill in the holes created by the contractor. I can not keep a vehicle clean and free of mud or debris as there is no way to avoid driving through mud and water to leave my driveway. I recently had a water leak and discovered that when the contractor “fixed” my yard, they covered the manhole that is covering my water meter. While my water was leaking out of my water heater, I was digging to try to find my meter which was covered up.

    Ben Lomand Connect was unaware that the contractor did not repair the driveway.  Ben Lomand Connect's Tracy City District Office Manager attempted to contact Mr. ******** on August 4th but got his voicemail. She left a message with her contact information to make arrangements for a date and time to repair the driveway. Ben Lomand Connect apologizes for the inconvenience and will make repairs to the driveway as soon as possible.
