      I have a citizens eco drive ****** watch ,which payed 300$ over 10 years ago,never any problems with ***** wife dropped it off at Woodards to replace the quartz cover.Woodards kept the watch 3 months with the steel band on backwards and the watch quit working,so I havent had a watch since they replaced quartz cover.I request a new citizens eco drive watch.They made some excuse a part over 100$ needed replaced but I will never allow Woodards to touch anything in my family.

      I forgot to add my wife picked the watch and the employees that ruined my watch didnt even check it or notice the watch band was on backwards and I noticed as soon as I received the broken watch

      The watch was dropped off in September  2024 and picked up November 2024,because Woodards didnt have a quartz cover for the citizens watches they sell .Very poor business practices.

      The time frame on the repair was due in part to the client wanting a sapphire crystal instead of a mineral glass replacement for the crystal. As with any watch repair, part ordering can take time to source the correct items for a watch. In a lot of cases, watches have to be sent out to the manufacturer and can take even longer. The watch was only brought in for crystal replacement and pin replacement. Therefore the band was not touched and the watch was not sent off to evaluate the movement in the watch. When first speaking to the client in October regarding their concerns, we asked that the watch be brought back in for further review and that we would change the direction of the band for them at no cost. The client did not bring the watch back until December 28th at which time we changed the direction of the band while the client waited. The sales professional who assisted the client stated that the client left another watch with us for repair as "they were not in a hurry" to get it back. That is why this complaint caught us off guard as we understood everything was taken care of 28th and the client made no other complaints on that day and was comfortable enough to leave another watch with us. With regard to the watch "working" or not, we were never asked/ have not to sent off the watch for evaluation, which would need to be done to determine if there is anything that can be done to extend the life of a 10+ year old watch.

      The bottom line is my watch is kept in original box in excellent condition and never had a problem until Woodards had the watch and no longer works and you need to check repair items before you say its ready .In conclusion the evidence proves that Woodards damaged the watch and expect the watch be replaced .

      The woman at woodards called after some time and told me it was called a saphire citizen watch. She could use just quartz or replace the saphire. I asked for it to be replaced like the watch was. She called weeks later stating the saphire was on back order.
      I called and I sent you my call log. She didn't know how long it would take.
      After I got it and it was running so slow the lady said to take it home and put it in direct sun because it was running slow due to it being with them that long. The band was backwards when we got it back. I took the watch back and she turned the band back right as I waited there for it. It took about 15 minutes and the band was right.

      They have lied. I didn't pressure her to get the watch by being mean. They never said it would hurt the watch by being there so long. I did go get it when she called to pick it up. I know the watch was working prior to taking it and after I got it back is when you told me the watch wasnt keeping time.
      The lady told me when I took it to redo the band that it might now require another thing to be done to it and it would be 80 to 100 dollars more. I knew you didn't want them to keep the watch again so I brought it home and you made the complaint about it not running to the BBB. But now I see he blamed me for it all. The watch looked brand new except some minor scratches is why I took it in to begin with no other reason. I'm sorry they screwed up vour watch. Today 12:39 AM

      I am rejecting this response because:the watch was kept in original box with never any problems,until Woodards had the watch and was returned not working and the band was on backwards,so the only conclusion is Woodards broke the watch and expect a exact replacement

      the excuses that Woodards made doesnt solve anything,except they do very poor work and dont care about customers.The bottom line is like I said ,they had my watch several weeks and was not working after they replaced crystal and that is the proof they did something to make it stop working,so they need to replace the watch or 300.$ I payed for the watch
