In the attached document I have detailed the quality and safety issues my family and I have had with this boat. Here is a brief summary:

New 2023 Tige Z3 was purchased 6/22 and delivered 9/24/22. Since the purchase there has been a coast guard recall on the steering, the stern thruster has failed twice, the transmission randomly will cut out of forward gear leaving the boat with no power and no ability to steer, nearly resulting in a collision on the intracoastal waterway, despite "repair" this same issue occurred immediately after putting it back in the water. The boat is rusting in multiple places, namely the captains chair, causing damage to the gel coat even with the "Saltwater Elite Package" and meticulous washing with Salt Away. A work light from the factory with a lithium battery was found in a closed compartment in front of the helm, a fire hazard. Constant water in the bilge and the pump running every 3-5 minutes when in use, and being told "that's normal for these boats". With all these issues Tige' customer service manager ****** *******, offered 2 speakers to be added to the boat or money toward a trade and when I replied to this asking for an extension on the warranty and with new issues with the boat he stopped replying completely, and now I am having to take the boat 4 hours away to the closest dealership to repair this transmission failure, again. This boat has barely been used just over 50 hours, including 10 hour break-in and has been quite literally a threat to our family and other boaters due to transmission failures amongst other issues. This boat is clearly a lemon and we are requesting a refund.

I purchased my 2023 Tige 24RZX from West Coast Boat Center on February 11, 2023. Upon receipt of the boat, we noted and communicated that there were over 20 issues with the quality and finish of the boat. Through our inspection, we communicated these issues and discrepancies with ****** and ******* at West Coast Boat Center which whom I was informed handles these warranty claims. Based on conversation and the time it would take to complete a full detail and correct all the issues, it would prevent me from using the boat during the season so I was advised to note all issues and discrepancies and it’ll be handled at the conclusion of the boating season.

Around August 14th while completely another warranty issue, which I was charged rather than being covered under warranty, I advised the staff at West Coast Boat Center that I would take my boat to a boat shop to acquire a quote for the repairs. I was told once I receive the quote to email the information in to start the warranty process.

On October 24th 2023, I forwarded the quote and inspection form as instructed by ***** at West Coast Boat Center. Since submitting, I have had zero correspondence from my dealer nor have they made any attempts to follow up. I’ve reached out several times but have failed to get a call back from the staff.

I was then contacted by ***** at Tige and was advised to forward my issues and quotes so that he can assist with approvals to get my boat repaired as Tige “is proud of their warranty”. A few days after ***** made contact, I was informed by ****** that ***** was no longer with the company and that he’ll be handling my claim moving forward. Several days went by and on November 7th I was advised that Tige will be moving forward with having Sergio’s Boat Spa to handle the repairs. I have made several attempts to follow up on that email to get it scheduled and have been ignored now for a week.

At this point, this boat falls under the lemon law and will seek legal assistance.

On November 7th, 2023, *** ******* received an email confirming the approval of the warranty claim. Our understanding is that the issue has been successfully addressed, as indicated by our email communications concluding on November 15th with *** *******. To the best of our knowledge, there are no other open issues at this time.
