    I applied for an $8000 Graduate Plus Loan in late Oct., as recommended by my financial aid advisor ***** *******. The loan has not been applied to my debt of $6787.70, despite it being approved by studentaid.gov. According to ***** ******* and a loan specialist, my application for the loan is refused because I reached the aggregate loan limits. I indicated that I spoke to an agent at studentaid.gov who verified that my loan was approved, it just has to be disbursed by the school. My screenshot mentions that the Graduate Plus Loan is not included in the aggregate loan amounts (for Subsidized and Unsubsidized student loans), which was also verified with the agent I spoke with at studentaid.gov. Abilene Christian University is still not disbursing the aid I applied for and was approved for.

    Thank you for making us aware of this comment.This issue arose as a result of a third-party process that caused a delay in disbursement; however, our records indicate that the issue was resolved on November 14, 2023 when the loan was disbursed to the student as requested. Please let us know if there is any additional information we can provide.
