Company fails to return calls and promises things they dont follow through do not return call on trip information.you pay for something you at least expect phone call or e mail about information you give them I do believe it is a scam as no services have been rendered for me. Ask for managers they take your name and number and never call you back would like to be refunded my money. We attended an information presentation about the travel services that the company provides to its members. CTS offered 2 free plane tickets, 2 free hotel nights and $100 in restaurant vouchers for attending the session. Membership includes reduced hotel stays, discounts on condo rental and cruises and airfare. Membership cost was $13,000.00 but we were able to negotiate the fee to $2300.00 We received the restaurant vouchers but they only covered franchise restaurants and you had to spend $50. Or more to use the $25. Voucher. The free plane tickets required payment of $225. with the stipulation of flying out of certain airports (none of which are located in my state) and the ticket couldnt cost more than $350.The free hotel night cost money and you cant pick your hotel. -When searching for hotels, I found there are cheaper prices on Expedia. -I emailed ***************************, vice present of sales asking to cancel my membership which started in July, 2023 and he never responded -I attempted to get hotel information from the company and they never called me back. -CTS is clearly selling services that dont match their promises.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I have attempted to contact CTS regarding my free gifts which actually cost money. We were never told our free gifts cost over $225.00i contacted *************************, Vice President of sales on 8/25 to discuss my frustrations and he never responded.
I contacted CTS on 8/25 to attempt to find a hotel in ******. I was told I would get a return call. As of 8/29 I have NOT received a call.in July I contacted CTS to assist me with a VRBO rental in *********, **. I had to speak with 2 or 3 different people before the reservation was made. I had to request the invoice a couple of times before ******** finally sent it. The 2 emails are attached.
This company does not provide the services it promised. I want a refund.

We paid $2995 for a travel service that promised amazing discounts. We found this not to be true. The 10 year commitment went from $23k and kept going down as we continued to say no Until they said $2995 for 10 years. We did not cancel during the 3 day grace ****** because we felt we were getting a fantastic deal and not true. Everything was misrepresented and the free airline tickets and $200 dinner certificates had so many restrictions that no one would use. A copy of her lodging is attached. Nu Car Rental Confirmation #**********NU. ********* Airlines Confirmation #**AVRJ. The package is nonrefundable. ***************** has utilized the benefits of her membership and it not *********** a refund. ***************** saved $2500 on her vacation by utilizing her Clear Travel Services membership, a 63% savings. ***************** paid $1586 for 2 roundtrip airline tickets on ********* from ********** to *******, 2 weeks mid-size rental car and 2 weeks of lodging at ********** Resort ******* in a condominium. I am rejecting this response because: We called Car rental and they said reservations were cancelled. Last week we had confirmation of car rental but not resort or southwest Flight.
We need a new email with Car Rental, **************** and ********* Airlines conformation and reservations numbers that we can verify. We call and return their calls and never speak to anyone. We want this settled or our money back. We have paid $5,794.00 and they don't even return our calls. What if we didn't check our reservations, we would not get on plane, let alone resort or car rental. This is a poor way to do business.
We need to know what is going on.

The reservation manager has spoken to Mr. and ****************** There was confusion on the airline reservation because ***************** called the wrong airline to confirm reservation. A reservation agent had a conference call with Mr. and ***************** and ********* Airlines to verify tickets and reservations. Mr. and ***************** are currently traveling. The airfare with ********* Airlines was in order, the rental car with Nu Rental Cars was in order and the lodging was in place. Mr. and ***************** received a substantial discount on their travel arrangements. A refund of membership fees is not due. We were sent an invitation to attend a 2023 Travel and Excursion Showcase. In the invitation, it promised 2 complimentary round trip airline vouchers. We called to schedule and asked the scheduler for details about the vouchers. We were told that the vouchers were for free travel to any continental international airport for any dates or locations we wished and would cover the entire cost of the ticket except for ticket taxes. Also, we could choose the airline. We attended the presentation and sent the voucher to the travel agency. We received a list of rules which were very different from the information received from the scheduler. To schedule the flights, the rules stated we must choose 2 different locations and 2 different dates and the agency would decide which, if any, of our dates would be approved. It also stated we could not choose the airline and to book, and we would need to pay $75 per person to book. It also stated that the ticket cost was limited to $350 per person and if we wanted to go during certain dates, there would be another $25 to $75 per person surcharge. It also stated that trips were limited to a minimum of 7 days and maximum of 14 days. It stated that we would not even find out if we were approved until 30 to 45 days before our selected dates.We were also told by the scheduler that we would receive $100 dining voucher to be used at numerous restaurants. We were not told that we would actually receive a $25 voucher for 4 months to be used at restaurants and needed to spend $50 to $100 to use the voucher.This is fraudulent advertising and appears to be a scam to entice you to attend a presentation with high pressure sales to purchase a very expensive travel service. This was also a scam as the salesperson continued to lower the price every few minutes to convince us to purchase.Business Response

I accept the response with the Amazon gift card for the restaurant gift card reward. However, it does not satisfy my concern regarding the flight vouchers. According to the scheduling agent for Clear Travel, when we scheduled our seminar, I asked many questions about the flight vouchers. I was told that we could schedule for any dates we wanted except for a couple days before or after a holiday, to any location we wanted and we could fly on any major airline. We were also told the cost of the tickets was unlimited as long as the flights were within the continental US.
There was no delay from the voucher company so there is no reason to contact them. They sent us the list of restrictions for the vouchers in a very timely manner. I am not sure that the respondent read my complaint thoroughly. To book the flights, we must pay $75.00 per person with a maximum flight cost of $350. The rules also state that we must choose at least 2 dates for 2 different locations and the voucher company will decide which if either of these dates and locations they can book tickets for and they will not inform us whether we are able to book until close to the travel date. We also do not have a choice of major airlines. There are also other surcharges which were not discussed when we scheduled the seminar. This is very different than the information given to us by the scheduling agent for Clear Travel. This seems like a bait and switch method to encourage people to attend the seminar. Had the scheduling agent just been truthful, we could have decided whether we still had interest in the program. This dishonesty or perhaps just lack of knowledge of the voucher program made us question the integrity of Clear Travel.
Clear Travel should ensure that the scheduling agents are able to accurately discuss the voucher program. This program was misrepresented to us. We usually book our flights at least 5 to 6 months ahead of time, on the same airline, and on specific dates that work with our schedules. We also plan our vacations to a specific location. These travel vouchers are not usable by us with the restrictions listed by the voucher company.
I am very satisfied with the response of the Amazon gift card for the restaurant gift certificates, but believe we are owed $700 for the cost of 2 flights. This is the amount that we usually spend when flying to the locations that we normally visit. We would however be satisfied with $500 to settle this dispute.

We attended a travel presentation in ********** **** in May. We are still waiting for our 2 RT tickets and hotel vouchers...We have called, left messages and now we will be posting on all the Social and review sites we can to let others know you do not make good on your promise of tickets/hotel without purchase into your club. We attended the meeting. Stayed for the entire presentation and it wasn't for us. We were given a pretty generic form to fill out and mail in with ************ would be processed in 21 days.
