In late 2023 I made a purchase from them. After the purchase the started billing me monthly $49.97 and did it 12 times. I never asked for any services other than the item purchased and received any additional services. They had my credit card and billed to it fraudulently.Initial Complaint

This company has been contacted by myself at least 5 times by email a one attempt by phone with customer service. After on hold for 15 minutes I get a recording to leave them a message. I did and no return call. They did not send my full order and 3 weeks after my original order I get a charge from them for $50.00 for some stupid magazine subscription I never ordered ( unless it was in the fine print somewhere) I want my $50 retuned to my account and the rest of my order which is a holster.Customer Answer

While purchasing an item from this company I was signed up for a magazine subscription that I did not want. I tried to get ahold of the company and sent email to the company's website and the Magazine help/support. Neither entity has responded to my request to cancel this magazine subscription. This subscription is automatically deducted from my credit card through an automatic deduction that I did not authorize. In January (01/03/25) I completed a purchase from **************************. I read through the order details carefully as there were many additional advertisements for products and services during checkout. Shortly thereafter, I receive a magazine (reading material) and a monthly charge in the amount of $49.97 (03/03/2025). I reached out via the contact feature on their website with no response for a week and at that point I ended up filing a claim with my creditor and reporting my card stolen/compromised. Here is a screen shot of the charge on my credit card. I am seeking a refund for this issue as hundreds of others have submitted the exact same complaint, with many other individuals confirming there was nothing during the order placement process about being enrolled in the "newsletter." Since I already contacted the company via email with no response, and attempted to call with no answer, it's clear they are aware of their less than ethical business practices, but choose not to address the issue until it's impactful. I started getting a charge on my CC. for $30.74 on Dec 9, 2024 After checking closely I have reoccurring charges on the 23rd of each month for $52.77 Dec 2024 Jan 2024 Feb 2024 . I ordered nothing from these folks! They total they have stole from me to date is $189.65 of which I have nothing to show!! I simply want this unauthorized charge to stop and My Crisis Gear to refund the unauthorized charges back to my card! I have since seen multiple complaints from many other concerned folks! visited their website and filled out form for a shoulder holster. When I got to the end after entering address and **** info i read the fine print and clicked the x on the top of the site and closed the website. I never completed the transaction, but they deducted more than the $29.99 for the holster which I never completed filling out the form. I want reimbursement and I have to cancel my **** and get another one because my credit union says it takes 90 days for resolutions. In the meantime they continue to collect money from me for a membership fee which I didn't want, thus the reasoning for backing out. Plus the total they charged on my debit card was $52.97 on a $29.99 purchase.Business Response

The company Crisis Gear fraudulently billed my credit card on three separate occasions. I notified my credit card company and I was reissued a new card. That is why they are again trying to bill my credit card but it won't work. My credit card company (Comenity by *********) was supposed to inform the company of their incorrect billing.
